The red Ballabio has been listed several times I think- asking too much money for it- people will only buy bikes from EBAY if they are cheap.

I used to own a Ducati 900SS and it was a great fun bike- very zippy motor with great handling. It was also more reliable than any Guzzi I have owned. I only had one small problem in 4 years- a slight leak from the hydraulic clutch. Why did I sell it? It was only good for one thing- thrashing around country lanes and A roads on a Sunday morning- I returned to the Guzzi fold because I wanted a more solid feeling bike with longer legs- and yes, I missed the Guzziness. If I could afford it and had the room, I would love a 749R in the garage to accompany the other bikes. When chosing a bike don't worry about what other people think- go with your own instincts and desires. Guy

It would be nice to ride in sunshine all year round and just have to wipe the bugs off occasionally, but if you ride regularly in the UK your bike will be dirty, especially in winter. Guy

Martin I have some unused brackets in the garage from the standard pipes that were removed from our 2 bikes- I'll lend you one if you are going to be off the road for a while because of this. Guy

I had an FJ1200 too when I was 21- I enjoyed thrashing it at the time but there were no speed cameras and less traffic. Having a fast 4 cylinder bike would get me banned these days- I would like Guzzi to make more powerful motors though. Guy

Found this on NLM's website- I presume they have imported it like most of their other bikes: MGS01 I think this means there are 5 for sale in the UK at present, assuming none have been sold recently. 1 at Twiggers (New) 1 at InMoto (New) 1 at Motori Di Marino (New unoffical import) 1 at Kawasaki Newcastle (Used) 1 at NLM (Used) Maybe some discounting will be offered if they continue start gathering too much dust. I like the Griso but I suspect it would be no competition when it comes to comparing motors- still a nice motor I am sure but the Breva 1100 I rode was nowhere near as rorty as my V11, so if the Griso is similar I would suspect that a V11 would leave it for dead. I am willing to put this to the test if any Griso owners fancy a burn up at Santa Pod. Guy

I think the aliens may baulk at looking up Guzzi rally goers arses- especially with the lack of washing facilities you mentioned in another thread, but the BMW riders are a good lead as they will certainly be more hygenic. How do I get in contact with the alien leaders so I can claim my commission for these introductions? Another thing- what are they actually looking for? Have they lost something? Can they get Channel 5 if they look deep enough? The Truth is out there.

Helen had one already fitted (to the bike not her) when she bought Mal's old Le Mans V and it was fine.

Why are these aliens selecting Americans in particular for these anal examinations? Maybe citizens from other countries may wish to participate.
