  1. I would love to see a picture of this hack. I'm going to start crimping and cleaning soon, but I'd love to have an emergency buffer....
  2. +1 on the valve adjustment tool. I bought one as soon as I saw it. Makes "getting the feel" much easier. Fortunately for me my hammers are left-handed...
  3. Also in Indiana, my black frame burgundy is a "Rosso". I guess I'm in rarified air.....
  4. I've always had good luck with the star-tron, but other things happen; like last night I got the dreaded weak buzz click at the relays. Time to clean and check connections and grounds. If I didn't like the bike so much I would have lost patience with it by now.
  5. Topped off the tank, added star-tron, rode to work, rode about 15 miles after, and wondered if this was the last time this season...
  6. ...and I was hoping that this post was going to be about a newly discovered anatomical oddity la-la Scaramanga...how's that for obscure references?
  7. Maybe rig a wing and vent on the rear cowl of the V11 as a combination drive brake and relay cooler?😅
  8. My "sedate" black frame burgundy has the vibey clip-on's , and I even crank up the steering damper at higher freeway speeds. I guess I'm becoming the old fart "poser" ( until I get to roads I know)...😅
  9. New fresh gas, star-tron, rode to work and back.
  10. I keep thinking about the old Brit bikes with the voltmeter built into the headlight cone...
  11. My burgundy black frame is "Cracklin' Rose" from a wonderful encounter with a beautiful woman, hearing that song, and the noises she makes ( the bike that is) when cooling down...
  12. I was thinking that perhaps the Guzzi singles were inspired by WW1 aircraft engines (Anzani, etc.),and the trend evolved into more cylinders... Just a thought.
  13. My '02-3 is a work in progress, but I remember the oil light briefly coming on, so I'm in if it is possible.
