  1. I've been restoring a 1958 Yellow Jacket runabout for the last few years. Hope to have it in the water this summer. It was built in Denison Texas and the company was owned by the great Roy Rogers. He also raced them and set several speed records with one. Salt water is not the enemy of wooden boats - fresh is. Fresh water rots wood fast, salt preserves... The two happiest days in a man's life? The day he buys a boat and the day he sells it. Rj
  2. Should have put your money on me... Downright Nasty: You're not just a law breaker, you're a pretty evil person… Some of those things you have done are gonna put you on a one way escalator going down when your time is up. Give up hope of changing, you're a lost cause! Based on your answers, we have calculated the maximum penalty for your crimes*: Years in prison: 132 Potential fine: £9500 Plus a possibility of the death penalty! Hell, I only missed one question... and I used the Ted Kennedy definition: "You haven't really had a woman until you've had all three holes." - Ted Kennedy peace out, Rj
  3. Baby seal of course... Rj
  4. Hey Greg! It's on Apr 23rd this year. If you come up ask for me (Ryan or Oddball) at the Show and Shine registration booth. My club usually runs that for Todd. Rj
  5. WAS a fuckin' beautiful bike... Will be again, but probably not in time for Tsawwassen... Rj
  6. Remember Bob, this is Ben's head we're talking about.
  7. Twenty grams is very little. The easiest way to match the balancing you currently have is to take out the original pistons. keep track of which one goes with each cylinder. Then have a balancing shop match the weight of each new piston to the weight of the piston it is replacing. They will take the necessary amount off the inside of the piston skirt on a lathe. Now you have new pistons at the exact same weight as your old ones. Put them in their respective cylinders and your engine will be just as well balanced as when it left the factory - if it did leave the factory balanced... Just making them the same weight doesn't take into account possible differences in rod and wrist weight. (bring your rings and wrist pins to the balancer too). You don't need to rebalance your crank this way (gotta strip the motor to the crank for a proper job). Rj
  8. I like to tie her down with her legs and arms hitched to the bedposts, face down in the pillow. Used to use silk ribbon, but had to change to a sturdier material. She prefers the fur handcuffs. Proceedure varies depending on the willingness of partner. Sounds like you have all the materials and hook points necessary to get her secured in the bed of the truck. I'll have to try that... Rj
  9. Sorry Martin, you are obviously overqualified for the job. You'll have to make do with making airplane noises at your desk. Rj
  10. Lord Purple Helmet tells me he likes to be painted with chocolate syrup. Rj
  11. http://bigtwinracers.com/photos.php Thank God! They finally came out with a bike for those people who want a Buell but don't think its quite ugly enough. Rj
  12. cry - check. scream - check. rant - check. kick the dog - check. beat the children - nope. I don't have any. Can I come over and beat yours? Just talked to Gord @ Valley - Thanks Jim and Chris. He has one in stock so I should be able to pick it up on Saturday. The Ducati is another story... of course everything I need to replace does not exist anymore... thanks guys! Rj
  13. pssst - Quota... Then you could put your V11 wheels on the Quota and also have a Motard! Rj
  14. Can't call you the King anymore... looks like it's Emporer now. Rj
  15. New Brembo masters don't seem to be that much. Found a couple of new ones for $150-$200. I like the radial conversion idea - if they aren't ridiculously more money I may do that. More Googling required... I still need to give Gord a call as the last two days have been crazy busy. Thanks to those who have offered to sell me their old ones!! You might want to hang onto it in case you need it! New ones are fairly inexpensive so I'm leaning that way. Just need to figure out which one I need, then the Guzzler will be mobile again, but rather uglier... Rj
  16. How about the Taco Bell dog on a snowmobile? A yellow one. The bike might be a Puch 125... Rj

  21. So it was made for a man then! You're in luck. Instructions?? That's just a ploy by the paper industry to get us to buy more paper. They'd only be in Japanese anyway, and would describe the installation of a "similar" model. Honestly, wish I could help... My tank bag just straps on. Rj
  22. I KNOW I have an addictive personality. Rj
