  1. I'm with you on the cats Noggers! The way I see it, nakid bimbos got just as much to do with the baby Jesus as a fukin christmas tree. More fun decoratin the bimbo, and I'd much rather wash pubic hairs out of the sheets that try to get the damn tree needles out of the carpet. I'm getting tired of all this "I'm offended" PC bullshit. Somebody (atheist) was offended by the bloody tree one of the secretaries put up, like every other year. Complained that forcing religion on her constituted a hostile work environment. All the deans, muckety mucks and faculty thought we should remove the tree. The secretary stepped up and told them all to shove it. Good for her! This PC crap has gone way too far. Nobody lives their life without being offended by something. Your beliefs are your own, no problem, you are entitled to them, but we all have to expect that whatever we decide to believe in is going to get offended at some point. I think I'll do some more offending... Rj

  14. You're doing the right thing Gil. Fix it once, fix it right, forget about it. Much as I have found many uses for JB, and Ratchet may be correct that it will be fine, but I always look at wether I want to do the job again...and in this case, I'd replace the cover. You should be able to send payment quick, even at this time of year. You're getting a great deal on the cover so use expedited or registered air mail to get your money over there quick. Make sure whatever you send to them, they can cash there! I've had people send me money for things only to go back and forth a couple of times because they've sent me payment I can't cash... cheers, hope you're back on the lady soon! Rj
  15. After a couple years of waiting to see the Sport Classics, I finally got to see the Sport and PS at the Seattle show. Liked them a lot in the pictures but not so much in person. I've never liked the fairing on the PS... something just not right about the lines... same with the tank. But I've never liked faired bikes... I really wanted to see what the Sport looked like in person as it is the one I liked quite a lot. Big disappointment! Mostly in the suspension - no Ohlins!!! The PS has the Ohlins front and rear and all the pics I'd seen so far had them on the Sport too - nope. Didn't even look like there was anything to adjust on the Sport front. Next - the tail. Looks good in pics, but in person way too fat and short. Completely missed the mark there! Part of what made the originals so beautiful was that they were sleek and slender - the SC's are much too porky. The single side SA and the exhaust I didn't mind so much tho' I'd rather have seen a double sided SA with twin shocks or a tucked away mono shock. I'd have loved to see an original type 2 into 2 with Conti replicas or styled exhaust. Maybe high Imola style pipes... Hated the horns slapped out in front. Need to be tucked in on the frame, not front and center - they aren't quite pretty enough to gather that much attention. Disappointing... My bank account is safe this year. Although if they start building the HyperMotard... I might talk myself into that serious hooligan bike! Rj
  16. It does sound kind of fishy doesn't it... sorry Max, no can do... we got no tires for ya... Just like the chick who told me she couldn't go on a free trip to Mexico with me because she would miss an appointment for a facial... Rj
  17. I always thought it was "safety third"... Rj
  18. well, maybe that's more of something for you... How about something just for her...
  19. Your bike should get its own "mini me" - a GB500. anyone ever notice the similarities? As for your wife... HIGHLY recommended!
  20. When I bobbed the nasty ugly bit of rear fender that sticks down under the license plate, I discovered that the rubber bits in it needed only slight narrowing with a razor knife and they screwed nicely into the hole. Looks great and uses stock Guzzi bits... Rj
  21. choppers suck too. Rj
  22. I hit the Seattle show on Sunday. Checked out the Grease Pig in person. Hated it in the pictures I saw, didn't mind it quite so much in person, until I saw the can. What an abortion that thing is! Massive can with a tiny little hole in the end. Absolutely ridiculous! I'm with Steve on the oil cooler too - horrid spot for it. Will it even be effective there?? Still kept an open mind until I sat on it. Didn't like it at all. Your ass might, but it did not feel right to me. It looks much bigger in the pictures, but seems much smaller in person. Guzzi will likely sell these things reasonably well, but certainly not to me! The Brevas... well... nothing good to say there. the Duc Sport Classics were a disappointment. I have 74 Duc that these were supposed to capture the essence of and they just don't. While curvy, the lines don't flow well, they seem "porky" while the originals were always slender, sexy things. The ass especially is just way too fat. I've never liked the fairing on the PS replica, the Sport rep is OK but a BIG disappointment that it doesn't have the Ohlins suspension that the PS does. All the advert pics up till now have shown it having the Ohlins too... My bank account is safe until next model year... Rj
  23. At least I can get a speeding ticket on my Guzzi. 62 mph - you gotta be kidding!!! I can't believe there is excitement that you can finally buy a HD at MSRP!!! Holy crap! really?? MSRP... and they might throw in an alarm!!! What a screaming eagle deal!!! Well, that changes everything! I doubt any Guzzi owner has ever been STUPID enough to pay $5K over list... Go to Moto International and you can buy 3 brand new Guzzis for the same price as a Harley Crapcycle. All in this together? Excellent attitude! I'll be right over to take your Ducati out for some exercise. Rj Oh nuts... I've been bad agin... hope Belfy Clause doesn't see this...
