That is it. Thought it might be too easy... Malcom Baere's six stroke, based on a Ducati engine. You can go to bed now Martin... Rj -
I've no problem with moving to NY... but Michelle is our hero!! Rj

When you ride like him, you can put whatever the hell ya want on your ass! I believe the nick name comes from the precision of his surgical disection of his competition. A PhD would be most appropriate in his field of study. Rj

Oh No!! Not Michelle!! Say it isn't so... please... Rj

NOOOOOO!!! I'll be good! I'll be good! Rj

What?? Only one?? Either there was only one in your group or there's something fishy about your story... Because there are a huge number of mouth breathers (perhaps mouthing their words as they read this) who believe whatever the mass media drives down their throats. ie - if my TV says its cool, it must be cool!! The only question I have is where these lemmings get the bloody ridiculous amount of money they need to spend in order to aquire one of these rolling artwork finely crafted pieces of shite. For what you need to spend to get a HD plus the crippling amount of money you need to spend to get anything that resembles performance out of the turd, you can buy several really nice functional motorcycles, one of which will greatly outperform the crapcycle in its own useage mode. Faking Hell's Accountants. Rj oops... did I offend somebody? the Italian Harley

Guilty as charged! It is unfortunate to see anyone leave before their time. Tragic loss is tragic loss. Famous, infamous, unknown... many greats have left much too early. Rj

Excellent! Now how about the wife? promise I won't take her over 80%... Rj

I was watching "Pinks" a while back where they were racing a Vrod. (Pinks is a show where regular guys drag race each other for pink slips) This idiot shows up with his brand new Vrod in a trailer hauled by some massive mega dollar truck thing. He's brought umbrella girls and was wearing custom leathers emblazoned with "Paulywood" on the front. (his name was Paul) The other guy showed up with a well used '83 stock Suzuki . (can't remember model...) In a best of 5 race set, Paulywood and his POS Vrod got SMOKED in three staight races. I mean it wasn't even close. poor Paulywood, no more Vrod... I laughed and laughed and laughed!!! Still am as I write this. You guys can have your Vrod twisty framed super HD engined POS. I'm sure Eric Buell doesn't want it either. Rj

Only users lose drugs. Or something like that... Rj

Some of my friends - no chance!! Most of the guys I ride with tho' are very capable riders. We often swap bikes to try out the others latest ride or latest mod. We have an understood rule. When on somebody else's bike, ride 80%. That is, ride at no more than 80% of what you would do on your own bike. We've had no problems, but unless I trust someone's skill and maturity... no way! Now about that wife thing... Rj

We know it is only a matter of time before Osama is spotted at the West Edmonton Mall shopping at The Bay... Georgie Porgie will soon realize there is oil in Alberta... They say water is the oil of the future... then we'll really be fooked. Rj Sweet ride by the way... bike's nice too.

Keep in mind that $700 is canadian dollars... and includes all our gubment additions... There are places that are cheaper but I still can't believe that I can import tires cheaper than a dealer. $35-40 dollar mark up would be quite reasonable IMO... I can just do it so much cheaper... I can change my own tires and ballance them, but I'm really not fond of doing it. I have recently become dissillusioned with my dealer after dealing with him for over 10 years. He's always been expensive, but the service was always sharp. Now... There are three things everyone wants - quality, speed, cheap. The best you'll ever get is two of them. ie it you want quality and speed, it ain't gonna be cheap. etc. Lately I haven't been able to find even one of these things. Everything has become expensive, slow and crappy. Not just in the M/C world either. Rj

No worries Ben, we've already established that red frames rule. That simply can't be argued. The Scura and Tenni riff raff are just squakin' it out for bottom feeder status. It was all downhill after the red frames... Rj

When I can get tires brought in from the US for $110 ea my cost including all taxes, buying only 2 tires... and my dealer sells the exact same tire for $300 ea before taxes, buying in bulk... Somebody is making a serious mark up. I'll take the tire irons!!! I have since found a shop where the mechanics are quite happy to swap tires for a $25 per tire contribution to the lunch fund. And they do it right now! I don't mind somebody making money... a reasonable mark up... but I sure don't like takin' it in the ass! Not the type to just shrug, hand over my credit card and say "I guess that's what it costs...and I guess that's how long it takes..." $250 vs. $700??? I don't think so! Rj
-
I believe you are bang on the money there! My shop told me the same thing when they charged me $117 to swap two tires. Unless you buy their tires at ridiculously marked up prices, they'll find a way to tell you your business isn't wanted or needed. Rj
