  1. Testa Rosa! You bet - but only if the valve covers match the hood Rj
  2. I get it... paint truck embarrassing colors so that neighbors are less inclined to borrow it. Wouldn't it just be easier to ask for your keys back? Rj
  3. Post some pics of the girlfriend too... Rj
  4. Grease Pig Pink Griso with "over and under shotgun" optional pipe instead of the fugly cannon. the shotgun pipe ain't much better. That or a twisted Scura with Tenni owner gut splatter... could also be that bike BFG keeps seeing on the radio... Rj
  5. Moto-Meteora is the manufacturer. Made in Bologna, Italy. They made bikes from 55-66, tho' I don't know this model name or specific year produced. The company made mostly mopeds and scooters. Some used Morini Franco Motori engines, but I don't know about this one. I think model is Meteora too. It is 175cc and they made 104 of them. That's all I've found... bits and pieces from a few sites... may or may not be correct... Rj
  6. Nog - I figured you already had #38 solved... was wondering why there was no confirmation... And quiz #X... well... ummm.... does anyone have any idea what road to/from insanity that one is taking us down?? Rj
  7. ditto. I'd remove the thing if not for the ugly empty brackets it would leave. Rj
  8. Won't hear that too often! I was waiting for ya Biggie, but you were well past the B's... Finally a quiz I can get in on that isn't solved before I read it! cheers, Ryan
  9. pink pantah. Rj
  10. Louis Bleriot. Flight across the English channel. Built motorcycles from 1920-23. 500cc? Looks like a twin. Rj
  11. I got my bike at the same dealer - zipp is more than I got. You won't get any before, during, or after shmoozing there. Best you can hope for is a tirade on how the Liberal gov't is screwing him out of his hard earned money (yet they seem to have left him enough for toolin' aboot in his $300K boat....) Really, he could not care less... Rj
  12. perfect for sure - a shaggin wagon and motorcycle all in one... Might want to rethink that one! Rj
  13. Mounted your wife Saturday?? Big deal! Who hasn't? She may have cut you down to once a week, but don't feel too bad... I know 3 guys she's cut off completely! Oh, wait, you were talkin' about your bikes... nevermind then - carry on - we never had this talk... Rj
  14. Or more specifically, the grenading clutch disk. But at least you have a certificate of ownership... Rj
  15. I think I'll go to the Norge and get meself a beer. or two. or three. four is a nice number. Rj
  16. As long as she has one good angle, I'm happy But then again beauty is only a light switch away... Oh, you were talking about the bike... yup. no good angle there. Rj
  17. contain big girls' breasts... Riding a Scura is like riding a fat girl... they're both a lot of fun but you wouldn't want your friends to see you... Rj
  18. To grease or not too grease? that is a question. Looked at your old "sealed" wheel bearing. Obvious water/foreign material damage... so not sealed, or at least not sealed for life. Well greased open wheel bearings in old bikes last a long time when properly greased and maintained... I elected to open up the new bearings I had to buy when my sealed bearings were shot at 12k kms. greased them up and resealed them. Will they last longer?? Dunno - ask again when I've hit 25K kms... I look at the sealed bearing as an open bearing with dust caps. cheers, Rj
  19. Aren't we all! Except the Scura owners of course... Rj
  20. The Greaso and the Fridge. Not sure I like the direction MG marketing is taking. Certainly sure I don't like the new products. The Fridge looks like it's trying to be a beamer, and the Greaso looks surprisingly similar to the new concept Vmax... similar, but slower. much slower. Rj
  21. Had to make a post in the "Tenni only" section, needed a good cover story to get in the door. Luckily the gatekeeper was unaware of exact numbers. http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6195 In the beginning it was reported that there were only 100 made, then it became 125, then 135, then 150, thought it would end at 160, but nope - now there's 170 of the creatures. Multiplying like bunnies. As soon as someone can answer this thread http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6410 I'll know what color to paint Tenni #666. Then I can be cool too Rj
  22. yet another hi-jacked thread... can't you guys concentrate for more than one page??? lay off the for a bit! Rj
  23. Mine does that too...especially if I have a passenger. With a pillion I always have to remind myself to be very smooth. If I crank it hard - wobbly! Can be quite unnerving when trying to get around a cage before that big oncoming truck flattens me. Messed around with the rear shock (sachs) with no success... Rj
