Thanks for the compliments guys!
I'll have it at Cafe Calabria for the Italian bike meeting this Tuesday. Cafe Calabria is on Commercial Drive, just south of 1st Ave. 7 ish to 9 ish.
cheers,
Ryan
I know what you mean... It's like a bad car wreck - you know it isn't going to be good, but you have to slow down to get a look anyway...
Stay safe down there TX!

I bought all the POS wrenches for the different filters I've tried... don't waste your money!!
Pull off the pan - the gasket is tough and can be reused several times if you are moderately careful.
Punch screwdriver through filter and spin off.
Voila.

Ouch!! Sorry to hear about the busted bits, you and bike... A speedy recovery!!
Could be anything really. A bit of oil, some spilt diesel sloshed out... Things can be slippery even when they look dry. Quite often I've come to a stop and put my foot down only to have it try to slip out from under me.

Hi Martin,
Yes, open bell mouth. The can is the oil catcher for the breather. Pic was taken just before going out on the track, and since there was racing going on that day, the tech officials like to see that stuff.
cheers,
Ryan
I'b be so stoked to have what's in that white skirt...
Sweet trailer! I really like the "mother-in-law" suite. (visible in the reflection just in front of the tire...)

Ouch! I know exactly what that feels like... can't get comfortable for even a second. Every breath feels like the ribs are breaking again. Collar bone and ribs - not much is worse (bone wise) than that combination...
Hope they're stuffing you with the good drugs...
speedy recovery!!

I see belfast found a pastime Friday that didn't include watching Carol propagate on the tele...
Interesting that the story begins with BFG and jrt in bed... Still fixated on that ointment, are ye BFG??
More pictures in your next tale BFG - that one made my lips hurt...

If there is anything good that has come from Katrina, it is that many more Americans have had their eyes opened to just how well their government is taking care of them.
I liked the reference to "government by television".
God bless those who have stepped up to the plate and made sacrifices to help the needy when dubya was spending days trying to figure out how to float a boat.
