  4. I should probably also mention that you don't want to use the screwdriver to install the new filter... Rj
  5. I bought all the POS wrenches for the different filters I've tried... don't waste your money!! Pull off the pan - the gasket is tough and can be reused several times if you are moderately careful. Punch screwdriver through filter and spin off. Voila. Rj
  6. Ouch!! Sorry to hear about the busted bits, you and bike... A speedy recovery!! Could be anything really. A bit of oil, some spilt diesel sloshed out... Things can be slippery even when they look dry. Quite often I've come to a stop and put my foot down only to have it try to slip out from under me. Rj
  7. Hi Martin, Yes, open bell mouth. The can is the oil catcher for the breather. Pic was taken just before going out on the track, and since there was racing going on that day, the tech officials like to see that stuff. cheers, Ryan

  19. I see belfast found a pastime Friday that didn't include watching Carol propagate on the tele... Interesting that the story begins with BFG and jrt in bed... Still fixated on that ointment, are ye BFG?? More pictures in your next tale BFG - that one made my lips hurt... Rj
  20. I wouldn't mind watching Carol do some propagating... Might be better than the crap fest on the tele lately. Rj
  21. Usually the drunk girl goes down first... Rj
  22. Bocci, eh? I figured it musta been because most Italians "dress right" and need a wee bit more clearance on that side... Rj

  25. If there is anything good that has come from Katrina, it is that many more Americans have had their eyes opened to just how well their government is taking care of them. I liked the reference to "government by television". God bless those who have stepped up to the plate and made sacrifices to help the needy when dubya was spending days trying to figure out how to float a boat. Rj
