no, Mugello is early June... but ooops, i tumbled on the wrong dates...It's the other way round and actually NOT the same week end. Sorry about this. But still it's a great week... SBK Superbike 25/06 in Misano WDW in Misano (chillin', droolin'lots of activities with the ducatisti, trackday at Misano) MotoGP 30/06 Hollande (Assen) saturday: giant screen at the factory in Bologna
-
there's this magic thing happening last week end of june, in Italy. see, the Assen MotoGP is run on saturday, and they have a giant screen up at the Ducati factory, in Bologna. And, on sunday, you have the World Superbike racing near Rimini. Furthermore, in 2007, the WDW is happening that very same week. I did the first WDW in 1998 and it was an awesome experience. it's years i want to do that magic week: riding down to Italy on wednesday and thursday, spend the friday in Mandello, going to Bologna on saturday and down to the WSBK racing on sunday... yeah. talk about a great week

voilà. me neither. I actually think it's quite a gesture of good will and friendship Dave offers some of its time so we, as a whole, can have a good reading without tripping on dirty offers

in that ad, the text is odd: "....MGS/01's overall stunning aerodynamic design ensures perfect agility and performance on and off the race track." on and OFF the race track ?

we can have a look at the blade from here: he may have lost the title but still has his sense of humour

isn't that cutting one self from the possibility that someone with no education has a very good grasp at things and a healthy view on life ? why do you think the people who are more educated should have automatically a more accurate view on things: don't experience and thoughts come in the equation ? Are you then ready to say that gyneacologists are no doubts better equipped to pleasure a woman than a normal punter ? while there are some studio celebs extremely stoopid indeed, and while I don't reject the idea that most can be quite detached from the reality you and i have to confront every day, there are some with great brains and they know how to use it, and they have very decent views on things. If they want to jump on their golden soapbox and attack a problem on tv and use their fame to get that across, it's fine by me. I wouldn't just cancel an entire 'type' of human beens just because some celebs are totally out the loop. * * the use of this image of a celeb with a great brain and an amazing art collection doesn't inply any contractual terms.

voilà. They are as entitled as anybody to have an opinion, and if they do use their fame and position to make a message come across to more people than when we do, that's fine. You don't have to listen if you don't want to.

Alex ? STOP ! that red photoshop job just did it for me. i'm off to the bank...
-
no, no, that's the price. It's been on Ebay a few times already.
-
yeah, it can get hideously priced some times. that's the model they did with the latest Ghezzi frame...

hi, i'm looking for a 2002/2003 (if possible) black crankcase for a V11. I've done TLM, Agostini and Reboot and no one has got one. Would you have one ? I'm located in Belgium.

hey, someone is up for shooting few "commies" ? looks like the list is up already. (add "vomit" animated gif here) i'm glad some people use their fame and money (well, some of it) to try to influence on the sorry state of things or have our attention on problems some of us obviously really don't want to think about. Of course, they have flaws like everyone and of course they're bound to be contradictory at times. Like everyone. There are some amazing people on that list who gave the world immortal chef d'oeuvres (but some do sux big time also )

altho i find the design very bland, the weight (133 kgs) and the (relative) power is interesting...And the price will be very low apparently !

Well, somebody down there has to compensate for the loss of Ian Thorpe in competitions if you want, there's a new PS 2 game about to be unleashed: Superbike Riding Challenge. you can ride on several circuits, or towns. In this game, you can choose your bike among street legal bikes. In there, there are Magni bikes (a Giaponne 52 and an Australia), MVs, Ducatis (of course), but also Voxans and even a blue Ghezzi-Brian Supertwin just like mine...

omg, we have exactly the same numbers : Can i borrow your RSV for the week-end ?

and what about the very diversely appreciated move by Ducati to sell the 1098 3.000 Euros less in the USA than in Europe ? Are we going to see huge import to Europe like we saw back early 90's with lots of HD and bikes from the US ?

lol...i rode Francorchamps a couple of times and seeing that bus fading in the distance at the top of Le Raidillon shows how fast it is.... -
another french song, this time sung by another Icon, Edith Piaf. interestingly enough, the music is from Lieber-Stoller. This song was written in 1956... L'homme à la moto (the man with the motorbike) Il portait des culottes, des bottes de moto Un blouson de cuir noir avec un aigle sur le dos Sa moto qui partait comme un boulet de canon Semait la terreur dans toute la région. (he wore motorbike trousers and boots a black leather jacket with an eagle on the back his motor fast like a bullet was scaring away the entire region) Jamais il ne se coiffait, jamais il ne se lavait Les ongles pleins de cambouis mais sur les biceps il avait Un tatouage avec un cœur bleu sur la peau blême Et juste à l'intérieur, on lisait : "Maman je t'aime" (Never was he combing himself, never was he washing himself dirty nails full of dirty oil but on his biceps he had a tatoo with a light blue heart and inside one could read "Mum, I love you") Dans le bruit de la machine et du tuyau d'échappement Il bondit comme un diable avec des flammes dans les yeux Au passage à niveau, ce fut comme un éclair de feu Contre une locomotive qui filait vers le midi Et quand on débarrassa les débris... (In the noise of his bike and his exhausts he jumped like a devil with flames in his eyes at the train junction it was like a firebolt Against a train going south And when they cleaned the remaining parts...) On trouva sa culotte, ses bottes de moto Son blouson de cuir noir avec un aigle sur le dos Mais plus rien de la moto et plus rien de ce démon Qui semait la terreur dans toute la région... (They found his motorbike trouser and boots his black leather jacket with an eagle on the back But nothing from the bike and nothing from the demon who was terrorizing the entire region) (fast translation...)

you haven't read one line of what she wrote so i propose we call it a day and let the real topic go his way, ok ?
-
oh, yes, she's an animal rights activist and that's ok. But she is definitively not the person she was when she worked and was subliminated by Serge Gainsbourg, and has expressed definitive and very radical opinions about politics and religion I rather not get into on this fine forum. She's been found guilty and condemned three times by courts for racism due to writings and declarations she made and is married to a guy belonging to the FN, a french extreme right movement. She has been on some TV shows and clearly called, and was condemned by courts, for racial hate a few times. So, we're a long way from the innocent sexy looking blonde she was back in the sixties...
