Presidential Power ?
jihem replied to TX REDNECK (R.I.P.)'s topic in Special place for banter and conversation
i wasn't concentrating when reading that the first time and I somehow read "middle west" instead of "middle east". I couldn't find any objection -
i wish i could be in your boots. I just installed a Scola RS cam and a PC III in the Ghezzi, and altho it's now a real rocket, i have some mechanical troubles that won't allow me to meet you guys in Mandello. I need to adjust this things before going on a 3000 kms trip and i'm afraid time is too short. the problems aren't with the new cam, altho my idle speed is now 1500 rpms at least, but some oil leaks have decided to become at last really annoying. have a good time there !

oh yeah, she surely HAS to have something to do with global warming she was actually married to this republican politician who, apparently, made her do euh..sexual acts in front of people in adult clubs... This is what Wikipedia claims she said about it : "- a bizarre club with cages, whips and other apparatus hanging from the ceiling."

thanx for the link ! Looks like Max may find a seat on a ducati, but with a satellite (of love?) team. But I don't see him doing good on such a temperamental beast, he will have to alter his style too much. on the other hand, it would be so great to have Marco alongside Loris. Or John Hopkins. John deserves a winner bike.

it was great to see Capirex winning, at one stage he had no less than 8 seconds on Rossi. Yeah in the commentary on the Belgian TV (well, private luxembourg TV...) they said (rumours) that Biaggi was interested in taking Gibernau seat at Ducati (it's pretty obvious Sete isn't melting in) factory, but Capirex said he wasn't interest to team up with Max. Max is then said to have replied 'well, it's pretty obvious a rider that only wins a couple of GP a year would be scared of me' you gotta love Max for his seduction dance anyway, Max on the Ducati would never blend either: the duc needs a very physical ride and Sete or Max rides bikes with too much delicacy and get all crazy when there's the slighest wave of discontent from the bike...

the site's last update is from 2005. bikes should be available on demand. call them, nice people there.

it's called the Furia and i believe if you call the factory or the US importer you can still have one made...

Why oh why????........

i was working in a recording studio specialised in advertising, a few years ago. We had to work on a Ducati commercial (for belgium only) and the AD (artistic director) and copywriter (these smart guys are always running by two) had that marvellooooooooooooous idea of having a man snoring in bed, dreaming of a ducati, and his noisy sound would be a motorbike sound. How clever i mentionned to them the fact that they were using were 4 in lines sounds . Didn't tell them how brave i thought their advertisment was.... -

yes, you kinda lost me there too...i was ready for a very strong V11, hey, even a kill-them-all-V11, but dicing with a four inline of a straight line, noooo way. And take that from someone with a bike that's about 25 kgs less than a normal V11. on a straight line i personally kept up with a GSXR1000 but they were two on the bike, and up to a certain speed, but don't ask the two valves Guzzi anymore than a temporary victory
-
i actually wonder also what the two ducati riders have to say about it.. after watching the crash taken from different cameras sources, i can't make up my mind if it's Sete trying a dangerous move or Capirex lighly moving infield and thus touching Sete's front brake lever... this said, whoever did it, it surely signed the end of Capirex's hope for a world title imho

thanx for the Lav' pic ! I just got confused if there was ever a model called Zane
-
scusi but...what imodel is a laverda zane ?

i think Stoner is tomorrow's Champ. He is incredibly fast, but need to tune his braking which is a bit of a let down right now. His turn speed is awesome.

at one stage, it looked like there would be three americans on the podium and that would have been a first since...wow...early 90's ? i think colin's mistake (a fairly understandable one) is the last straw for him. and for yamaha. i've heard rumours he'll be back in SBK next year. can't wait to see him fight bayliss again: these two guys were making the show. hopkins ? give him a real ride, like a factory ducati : he has a physical riding that will do great on the red bike. hayden ? what is there to say ? i think him winning shows how unprepared the newer guard of youngsters really is. He'll maybe wear the crown at the end of the year, but the best rider is we all know who

Superbike Planet sells some art, drawings and pictures, which are quite cool i think see for yourself: they had a great pic of the Cagiva 500 GP effort...

what about if I cant' start my bike with sidestand down, in neutral, and no neutral lights on. When I lift the stand, neutral light will still not be on but bike will start. after a few kms, when the engine is warm, neutral light is on and bike will then start happily on the sidestand. Is that also related to relays ? sometimes, this bike puzzles me

Piaggo being a group wanting only mass appeal, it 's painfully normal they want the product to look like the market leaders. unfortunately.

i guess this thread is the ideal place to start a Wear a helmet vs Don't wear a helmet discussion
-
from the talk he had with the engineer who's working on my bike, the RS cam he has for the 1100 Sport would be ok with some mods. don't shoot the messenger, now....
-
..and what do you guys think about Bruno Scolla's RS cam for V11 ?
-
:) Can i quote you on that one ?
-
i'm not from the US, but I also would like Colin to start fighting at the very front as he seems like a good sport and a funny guy. I'm so bored already with Pedrosa or most of the Politically Correct newcomers: i like my champs to be full of life and zest and fun. Looking at Rossi jumping in the air then hugging ol' Capirex was therefore great ! Shumacher apparently had come down to the racetrack on his own bike and he must have think that they know how to have fun in MotoGP and THAT you never have in most sports, especially F1. this said, looking at the ducatis trying to debark their riders by tankslapping at 320 kmh was an amazing sight too...
