    NOT a V11 picture

it looks great, and i'm definitively in love with black frames.
  2. As you may know, Ducati is asking for capacity changes in world sbk: the bologna twins have growing problems matching up with 1000cc multicylinders. There are even rumours Ducati will quit the championship all together is 1200cc maximum capacity for twins isn't allowed. The FIM and FGSport have issued a statement wich can be read as such: if ducati comes up with a 1200cc street bike it could very well be acceptable on the track. >In that sense, should the market of the future be characterised by changes, in particular where the capacity of what are effectively regular showroom models is concerned, FIM and FGSport believe that these changes should be mirrored in the Superbike World Championship technical regulations. isn't that a grand opportunity for Guzzi ? (see www.superbikeplanet.com for full FMI/FGS statement)

    who's the man

30.000 kms on the Ghezzi. Nothing really too dramatic happened to it. 1 x a DUCATI regulator, replaced under warranty 1 x a fuel pomp, replaced under warranty the gearbox is a charm, i do leak a bit from the lower engine case, but that's just the engine sweating cos it exercices its muscles
  4. some of the pics are just Armageddonesques...

    Hi from Larioboy

i love the look of these F1 ! yummy
  6. this MGS01 winning races is making my ducati friends very, very itchy. They just can't take it and come up with all the excuses possible in the book... as for me, i've been informed by my guzzi dealer that, yes, the MGS 01 is still on the list and can be ordered. 23.000 Euros.... anyone for a good second hand STW ?
  7. Flandria 125cc ?
  8. These were Liberace's bikes, no ?
  9. hi all:) thanx for your replies concerning my bike's odd behaviour...I'll get it back on saturday so i will be able to test and try the things you all suggested. as some may know, I acquired a Ohlins fork from HMB.de. The owner of the shop has been most helpful and i got the brand new Ohlins for the said 1500 € including transport. unfortunately, the Ohlins is far too long for the Ghezzi. We have turn this situation upside down, and there seem to be no way we'll fit it without major tampering and even rebalancing of the bike: I don't want to have to lift the back 5 cms...Jm's handlebars won't do the trick either, it's just a combination of things but at the end of the day, it's the same: Ohlins's V11 fork won't fit a Ghezzi-Brian STW. so, i'm here with a brand new Ohlins fork which i need to sell. I'm ready to make a great price for whoever is interested (send me a pm) and I have someone asking me if that Ohlins would fit his Marzocchi equipped 2000 V11 Sport (empty axle). Couldn't find a specific answer when searching the database here. Can someone tell me if that would work ? merci

    VITTORIA!!!!!!!

wishful thinking or do you know something we don't ? jihem:)
  11. dry gas ? what's that ?
  12. no, the starter does turn indeed, but it sounds like there are no sparkling somehow. Or no petrol. The engine does turn but to no reaction... and i can't only repeat that operation what, 5, 6 times (after that the battery dies...) the bike is at night in a garage, but it's not heated. and I would like to add i'm using the bike very, very often in town and it never did that on me before...
  13. maybe. But the bike wouldn't then start as well as it does in the morning I think. you can hear when a battery is going down, and mine seems fine...
  14. hi all my bike acts strangely at this moment...It's quite cold in Brussels, and the last times i took the bike for a spin it was always less than 5 ° Celsius. The bike starts flawelessly, first time, i would then do +/- 15 mins ride to my rendez-vous , have a cuppa coffee for 30 minutes or so, go back to the bike.. And it wouldn't start. I can hear the fuel pomp, battery seems fine, it sounds like the bike wants to start but it won't. After looking at the sky for some divine help, a few more attempts later, the bike would finally start... i'm puzzled. And annoyed. What could it be ? This has happened to me every five time i took the bike out...

    VITTORIA!!!!!!!

gee, that must infuriate some. Looking at the times in FX (?), the Buell assault doesn't seem to do so well...
  18. Motobecane (french manufacturer) ?
  19. hi, this may have little things to do with a V11, but in fact, it is closely related as most of my ideas come when i ride my bike...I know, some of you will want me to stop riding the weathermen are releasing "Embedded With The Weathermen". It is available in Europe on our website, thru FireZone records and Urgence Disks, and in the US and Canada thru CD Baby how to describe it ? It is electronic music with witty lyrics, and if you like(d) Devo, Aphex Twins, Depeche Mode, Tuxedo Moon or Front 242, you may enjoy it. anyway, just give it a listen jihem:)
  20. that looks awesome. Got any more pics of that Greenie ?
  21. did some remixing on the music i'm making for a video game. it's a tough job, but somebody got to do it
  22. without spoiling it with the results, let's just say it's time for Corser to wake up as this ain't 2005 anymore...When Ducati will have find a few more HP for reacceleration purposes, when Yamaha will tell its main rider to stop practicing on a PS2, when Honda/Ten Kate riders will learn a few more passes, I believe S*z*k* will have a really hard time having it as easy as last year.
  23. i would like to take this opportunity to thanx Jaap for his most excellent work and dedication on doing a worldwide V11 forum: I don't think i could have experience anywhere else brits engaging in a gastronomic discussion with dutch ppl now that i've seen it all i can rest assured the world will survive global warming
  24. at least you have races coming to your shores. We have Francorchamps, one of the (arguably, but not so much) most beautiful race track in the world and no WSBK (last time was 1992...), no MotoGP and no more F1 (not that i'm complaining about the F1...)
  25. two wicked looking bikes
