I've used a thin pipe so there's not a lot of fluid. Tried them out today they work brilliantly, got the fluid equal very quickly. I made these adapters for the balance bolts, using a couple of bolts and drilling a hole through them. With an o-ring on the end they only need to be finger tight then it's good to go. Ok ive ordered the guzzidiag cables from Lonelec but Im stuck- cant find a UK source for the breakout harness. Caspers seem to want a kings ransom to ship it to the uk! Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Thanks for correcting me! I couldnt find the break out harness in the uk so settled for this guzzidiag one. Not done any FI bikes before so shoupd be a good learning curve! Bought my pvc pipe to make up a manometer too Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Hi Docc... yes thats all I done, left the vent and overflows open. I havent done any tune up yet as i dont have the kit. Ive booked the bike in for a tune up at a MG specialist called Baldricks in London next month. Was hoping for a quick way of getting it in better tune just so I can use it before it goes in. However maybe I ought to learn myself! Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Took it out for a run tonight, no more issues, it pulls thrpugh the range problem. Feels like the injectors need slme balancing as that pop/backfire is more obvious. Is therea simple way to use the white knob under the left injector to balance the two? Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Well I took the tank off, disconnected everything, left the two hoses off from the drains under the tank and put it back on and it fired into life first stab of the starter and revved cleanly. So, im none the wiser exactly why but it seems ok! Cant take it out as mrs V is out and the kids in bed so hopefully get a chance to run it round the block im the next day or two and see if its stable now. Fingers crossed! Almost annoyed I dont know what caused it, but grateful at the same time

Cheers Tom that makes sense ill pick up a gauge and see what pressure reading it produces. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Fair comment I shall take care. Is there a proper process for checking this? Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Thanks for the pointers guys. Tom-- no havent changed the fuel filter. Lifted tank off just to do the airfilter, bike was running fine beforehand. Is there am easy way to assess if the fuel pump is ok? Eg do I pull the hose off the red pipe and turn the igniton on to monitor/measure how much fuel is pumped through? Ideally want to be able to isolate it as the source of the issie before buyimg a new one. Meantime ill see if I can find the part you refer to just in case. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

lukily ive got the VFR that I picked up last year as the daily ride but im keen to get the v11 back on the road for summer... the honda was planned to be the winter bike! Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Docc, ive got the fuel tank exit pipes like this...outermost pipe (red) lined down to the right injector. The inner pipe is lined to the left injector. I dont think it makes any difference but given bike was rumning ok before removing tank seems a good start point to check all is ok. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Haha gives you another chance to win it back! Relays - You think? I did replace all the relays with the omerons a while back. Since I posted about the problem it did run ok - intermittant usually comes down to electrics Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

It runs the same (only on idle) with the tank cap off, so guess its breathing properly. Might try bypassing the tank with a makeshift gravity fuel tank and see if that makes a difference Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Hi yes its an ohlins on the rear. Handles nicely! It also has wiesco pistons courtesy of a generous previous owner. Unfortunately having wheeled the bike round to the front to go for a ride, the issue has come back. It wont do anything other than idle. If I pick up the revs it dies. Tank is full with fresh fuel. Both cyclinders firing. Tappets sound sweet. Nothing obvious wrong. Teo things, I womder if i have the two pipes to the tank the wrong way round? Also there are a couple of pipe connections under the tank which I assume are the overflow and breather? When I refitted the tank I put a couple of hoses and routed to vent under the bike. Docc, you were correct Sir! More fuel and the old gal fired straight into life and settled down nicely. Good advice I would never have guessed the tank would hold that much fuel without an issue. Ive now done... rear brembo brake disc+pads, redline oils changed, airbox clean, filter clean and reoil, valves, champion red plug caps, brake fluids, caliper clean up, led headlight bulb conversion and probably a few other bits. Last job will be a tune up but habent picked up the bits/got my head rpund it yet. Cheers as always for the advice... Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

That was my first thought but looking over everything theres nothing unplugged Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Ok thanks so ive primed the bikes per guidance. The bike will start now but only on idle. In fact if i hold the throttle fully to the lower stop its fine and will idle. However, any revs above idle it cuts out. Both headers warm, valves sound fine so no nasty noises, she just wont run... any suggestions what to do next. I did take the airbox and rubbers off to clean them beforehand. Tried squeezing a bit of ez start whipst its running, didnt make any difference. Has new iridium plugs gapped at .7mm and new plug caps. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Cheers im sure its something like that Ill give it a go and see how it goes. If it ran ok even for a minute or so its got to be something simple!! Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Its pumped. Starting the bike push the fuel through which pissed out from the red coloured feed under the tank r/h side. Tightened it up and seems ok expect bike wont run! Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Just done my valves at 0.04 inlet and 0.06 outlet. Started bike up it seemed fine, but I noticed the petrol was leaking from the tank / hose connector. Stopped the bike and took the pipe off and on and retightened. Noticed there was no gas in the tank (i drained it before i removed it). Put some fuel in and now it wont start. Theres a spark but it wont run more than a second or two. Bit stumped. When I done the valves I took off the flywheel rubber to expose the timing marks. Used the S and D marks to do each side, by visually aligning the letter halfway accross the openjng viewport. Bike was cold when I done it. Sparks and plug caps back on ok. Any thoughts?
