  1. My buddy shot a lot more video. Make sure you check it out.
  2. I didn't like many of the bikes this year. The Triumph as :46 was very well done. Very. The lightly modified Norton at :54 was also tidy.
  3. Are are you sure that's the right connector? I couldn't get to the site. It was a redirect and then something about a Flash install. Looked sketchy as hell.
  4. Reminds me too much of a mid-80s Mexican vampire movie.
  5. I should probably recheck my TPS and when I do I'll video it. Can't promise how soon I will get to it. I assume you have the proper cable?
  6. I didn't freak out until I was at 17v+ while riding.
  7. I know very little about metallurgy but there is no way I’d use aluminum for a clutch pushrod. I know they are used for engine pushrods but those are larger diameter tubes and capped. The weight difference between steel an aluminum is about the same as the order of fries you had for lunch.
  8. Ya'll don't park your prized possessions in air conditioned garages?
  9. Assuming the failure rate is acceptable the cost could be significant.
  10. If I were to guess I’d say that CaCycleWorks buys those same cheap parts, tests them, puts a custom cap on them and sells them at a profit. They may also need to throw some of them away. Because they show the testing chart indicates that they may not have originally tested and had a bunch come back. Just the thought.
  11. You are probably right. Although if RAM was responsibly for the flywheels I'm sure Guzzi would have come after them and RAM might not be around today. Regardless it looks like RAM learned a lesson and doesn't offer aluminum flywheels.
  12. Maybe try to gather actual interest for the 50 and see how many you can get spoken for. Then look to see where the majority of those people are and then find a partner in that area. No offense but NZ is probably not the hot market for these things.
  13. I find that saving a couple pounds on the Guzzi is like me skipping dessert... in theory a good idea...
  14. That is the pressure plate, not the flywheel? Does it say RAM on the flywheel?
  15. Is that correct? I thought that some models (Scura for example) came with a single plate clutch but it was from Guzzi, not RAM. I believe RAM is an aftermarket company that offers a single plate clutch for most Guzzis and at one point had a clutch for the V11 (and other six speeds) but no longer offers it. http://www.mgcycle.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=193&products_id=1698 I could be wrong and RAM was the OEM for the single plate Guzzis. But I don't think so. The fact that the flywheel was the failure point indicates that it was a Guzzi issue. Because... Luigi...
  16. You need to ask how many for 50.
  17. So I did good? Well, it was on the list!
  18. How do you check the float? Putting the multimeter on the battery just shows 13.51v but isn’t that just what the battery is charged to?
  19. 14.21v on charging (on a non-Odyssey battery). I’ll check the float when it’s charged. What did you get on the one you sent back? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Schauer Charge Master CM6A Charger https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BXL2BS4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_QwW6CbP2NPGBD I believe this is th3 least expensive Odyssey approved charger on their list. When I bought it last week it was $62. It’s jumped to $71.
  21. Of course it is. You didn’t think I’d dare post one that wasn’t!
  22. last week I went out to start the bike and a whole lot of nothing. This with a brand new Odyssey. I put it on the Deltran Jr. and it brought it up enough to start the bike. 200 miles of riding recharged the battery. But I knew I need a proper charger so how did I do? Here’s what it automatically set itself at. Does that look right?
