  1. Is it bad I'm looking at Grisos for sale?
  2. They have those at the hotel. Do you think him a barbarian?
  3. At risk of getting kicked off this forum... that is one bike that could get me off my V11 Sport.
  4. I have some plastic spacers (stand off) that should work great. How many do you need? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Shoei RF1100 (Shoei seems to fit me the best). Vanson, textile when it's hot and leather when it's not. Aerostitch jeans with knee pads (removable) Alpinestar boots (Alpinestars Roam 2 Waterproof) Revzilla REAX Castor Leather Gloves
  6. There are some delays in getting the file from one of the forum members.
  7. Air box cover? You mean the tank top? I might want to try it for a camera mount. If you make it to Corvallis next Sunday maybe you can bring it?
  8. https://corvallis.craigslist.org/mcy/d/albany-2000-moto-guzzi-v11-sport/6877602124.html
  9. The Chinese government subsidizes the shipping. Companies who don’t want to deal with customs and international shipping may outsource. or jack up the price to offset the hassle. just have them shipped to someone here domestically and let them forward them to you.
  10. There are at most a handful of Guzzis at the show, usually more in the parking lot that field. 20 and older means the Greenie isn't eligible for a couple more years, although if I tough it out on the 850-T again I'll put it on the field. I was hoping to get the Norton done before the show but that's not going to happen. Next year!!!!
  11. Not really a huge fan of the BMW. Much rather find it a good home.
  12. My brother and I are selling my father's BMW R75/5 LWB with toaster tank. This was his favorite bike, but he is no longer able to ride. This is not a show bike, but a good, reliable motorcycle. It has been on numerous long trips, and never let my father down. Some details about the bike: VIN date: 12/72 Serial Number 2998xxx Purchased 1/2003 odo 42,685 Tank and fenders painted 2010 Chrome on exhaust ok, not great Chrome on side covers ok Tires almost new Rebuilt speedo/tach with new cables EME alternator and electronic ignition Most of electrical replaced with new Ignition key instead of stock key Powder coated frame Carbs rebuilt Front forks rebuilt
  13. If I were to guess the recall wasn't done correctly.
  14. Why do you think it would be better on the open road? Just rolling it will have the same effect. Was the gearbox disassembled at some point?
  15. Most clutch pushrods have hardened ends so when shortening it's prudent to re-harden the end.
  16. I could be talked out of my 850T without much trouble.
  17. I wouldn’t mind a Griso although I want to hold out for a Tenni Green one.
  18. Won't that do more good on the bike?
  19. Like I said if it’s seen damage it’ll make noise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. No Roper plate isn't a deal killer. Ask Pete how many plates he's sold vs number of V11s sold. If it runs it's survived so far without the plate.
  21. Lot easier just to offer the $60k and see if they take it...
  22. I want to throw up. V11 Sports are showing up in droves on one of the Facebook groups. https://www.facebook.com/groups/328264358708/ 6k miles. Dude is asking $3500. I'll be in the bathroom vomiting. Yeah, it's not going to last long. The other one there is a little rougher but still nice. No price, no key. Bet it goes cheap too.
  23. Only $600 from Cycle Garden? They must have been feeling generous that day. I’d also try the Moto Guzzi group in Facebook. More than likely you’ll get someone wanting to swap you straight across for your floorboards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/mcd/d/seattle-fs-2004-moto-guzzi-mgs-01-corsa/6863188026.html While not a V11 Sport... these don't come up for sale all the time. I'm surprised they don't eBay this one. $52k...
