  3. Footpegs will come up sooner or later. Did you check with Charlie at http://www.antietamclassiccycle.com?

  5. Subsidized shipping by Chinese government, if you couldn’t guess. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. To be honest I’d just use the bare pins. You’ll only need this thing maybe once a year, more likely way less. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I thought the same thing, I could just make the harness but then I realized the one side didn’t exist. Maybe it’s available now. If you find it let us know. I can check to see how much shipping would be for me and I might be able to ship it to you for slightly less than $120. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I have to look at mine again but I felt like one of the connectors was custom.
  9. I was wondering how similar those two bike are. I've only briefly ridden a modern Norton (more use to a vintage one). Similar displacement and power output.
  10. Color?
  11. Mine are very tight.
  12. Fixed the oil pressure light before or after the catastrophic failure?
  13. I’ll add pictures later but on mine it was a M6 screw and the hole in the seat was about 7mm.
  14. 12.88v @ approx 50F Battery fit fine, although tight. I used some M6x15mm socket head (Allen) bolts I had instead of the M6x12mm buttonheads that came with the battery. There's a 5mm Allen wrench in my tool kit under the seat and I can get to the screw on the negative side with it if I need to make a roadside repair. The longer bolt allowed me to get all four cables attached to the battery easily. The button head may have worked but I think I like the extra thread of the longer one.
  15. Taking bets on what the voltage on the boxed up battery will be.
  16. It was a dumb question as I just had to remember how big the fuses are. The biggest fuse in the system is 30amp?
  17. Finally got the stupid battery. I’ll try to open it tonight and see what it’s charged to. Side question, how many amps does the alternator produce? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I forgot to pick up my battery from Autozone yesterday. I need to do that this morning. Update: Although it was suppose to be at the store on Saturday... it wasn’t.
  19. Is that the one that mounts to the headlight and turns with the bars? Because if it’s not then I don’t think it will work with the earlier bike.
  20. Getting closer on this. Hope to have a target price soon (including royalties to Pete, which will be donated to his charity of choice) but excluding shipping.
  21. As soon as I sat back down on the bike I could see why the tank ring probably isn't a good solution for the V11 Sport, the tank filler is too far back.
  22. The seller on Amazon says the battery is delivered fully charged. I interestingly Autozone has the battery for the lowest price I’ve seen. $99. Not sure how long it takes to get shipped to the store. One way to find out... https://m.autozone.com/miscellaneous-non-automotive/motorcycle-and-power-sport-battery/odyssey-powersport-extreme-series-agm-battery/7616_0_0?OnetoOne=true&searchText=Pc545 I ordered the Autozone one. $99.99 and I can pick it up at the store tomorrow. Not bad.
  23. The downside to this theory is that hopefully you almost never need to remove the battery. At least never more than every few years.
  24. The latest issue with my battery has me wondering if there is a better way to manage the battery cables. Currently there are three wires to each terminal, the thick ones that go to the starter, another cable and then the tender cable. I'd like to get down to one cable per terminal, although I'm afraid the starter cables have to go to the battery. I know @docc has a block on his bike. I was looking at other options too. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bus-Bar-Power-Terminal-Block-Negative-M6-W-M8-Positive-Power-Distribution-Studs/401737085032?_trkparms=aid%3D555018%26algo%3DPL.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131003132420%26meid%3Dca909d6ae8f649c38cbf9532509bfebc%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D9%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D273703794632%26itm%3D401737085032&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851 Run a short thick jumper from the battery to here and pick up the other wires. That still gives me two wires at each battery terminal. The other choice is to run a wire from the starter up to the terminal block.
  25. I'm in the middle of an engine rebuild so play funds are tight.
