  2. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100011350112957 I highly suspect it's this guy based on the pictures on Facebook. It looks like a custom bike would be much trouble for him. I sent him a message via Facebook. I'll let you know what I find out.
  3. Not that I have seen. That's amazing! Needs an 1100 LeMans on the side cover. I wonder what they used for a tank? Anymore details?
  4. Proper bike with ribbed front tire and no fender.
  5. On a bike of this value you might as well tear it down and make sure it's right.
  6. It didn't say sold so I suspect they ended the auction for a sale on the side. So we won't know the actual sale price.
  7. If you do your own work a lift is mandatory. With the HF ones available all day for $299 with a coupon, it’s the best investment ever. Every single person who gets a lift says the exact same thing, why didn’t I get one sooner? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yes, the only reason I haven't bought one yet is space. I'll be putting up a backyard shed soon, and that will free up garage space for the lift. I do my own work and have a couple other bikes so it will get used often. They drop low enough that you can get some cars over them. Especially if you have an SUV. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. I installed the regulator I got from czakky a couple weeks ago. Friday was the first decent day we’ve had in a long while. I took the bike out for a spin. The regulator worked great, voltage never went above 13.5v with the heated grips on high. It’s not that warm here yet!
  10. Listing show ended.
  11. Seems like it could be too many other things to try pushing that big motha around.
  12. http://www.mgnoc.com/classifieds.html This one?
  13. Considering we don't have a price or delivery estimate yet I'd say we're doing pretty good.
  14. case in point. Customer number two. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Considering that the last run sold out and apparently the only option is Gutsiibits we'll make something happen.
  16. Yes, to MSF in your name.
  17. As I mentioned I know this guy who has motorcycle parts made in the Philippines. I was chatting with him but he was on holiday. I get a message from him today that he ordered the Gutsibits one as a sample so he could get a quote. He didn't tell me he was going to do this but it's too late. I said I could get one from Australia to him a lot faster. Doesn't matter, it's on it's way. So the irony is that potentially the next round of Roper plates might be "thanks" to Gutsibits. At least he knows the target price and feels comfortable his price will be significantly less. I think this could be an opportunity to undercut Gutsibits and give the fine folks on the forum a new source for the plates. And the royalties to Pete.
  18. He listed the battery as new. We assume it's been tested and fully charged.
  19. If battery charge is normal then the regulator shouldn’t have an impact, at least for starting.
  20. I re-read through some of the countless Roper plate threads. I apologize for asking the same questions.
  21. Chuck, here’s your green light to get a quote.
  22. I think the only issue is the side stand, but I don't know how big of an issue it is. Plus if we could source it in the US we might be able to get the cost down.
  23. Good point, did you try more holes in the plate? A slew of smaller holes might dissipate the pressure better but still keep the oil in check. Were you doing anything to keep the crankcase pressure neutral?
  24. Perfect, did you get quotes? I have to assume that water jetting stainless steel is less expensive than milling aluminum? Heaven's no. Pete's making some, isn't he? It's his intellectual property. I have no problem making one for the Kid, but what Guzibits has done is just plain wrong. Can you get a quote? Pete only made a couple and shipping from down under is prohibitive. We'd get his sign-off before going any further.
