  1. I'm too far away to take the spring. Find it a good home over there.
  2. Yessir. On the cusp of 108,000 miles. I still actually can't figure out where to make that cut (?) I guess it's out of warranty?

  4. Well, considering the green came from the original V7 Sport back around 1970 it was probably something a lot stronger than Mt. Dew. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Went over to my buddy’s house to see him start his bike for the first time. Meanwhile in the parking lot I caught a photo of these two V-twins. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Is Steve the one who made the custom pipes to fit standard mufflers?
  7. Two V11 factory maps? That is my understanding as well. Those would be the two depicted in Posts #1(Titanium) and #2. Well, that's not very impressive...
  8. From what I can tell there are only two maps? Is that right?
  9. So is there a map repository for the V11 Sports or not?

    15M maps

I mentioned this in my muffler thread and there have been comments that there are maps but I sure can’t find any yet. Is there a resource for maps for the stock ECU?
  11. The options seems like: GB ECU which probably isn’t cheap. And what software do you use? Power Commanders are still popular and can be updated too. Sending your ECU off is another choice. But we have the option of doing it ourselves with Guzzidiag so if you like messing with it you can. The last is obviously the cheapest although it will take more effort. 12. nope do a decent tune-up. repeat on time. https://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19610 Actually you should remap. Of course it's debateable . But to my experience when I first got my Lemans and threw on Mistrals and noticed it ran okay but a little hot and lost a little top end. I was also told the ecu would adjust to a crossover (because getting a crosssover is what getting pipes will lead to) is total hogwash. I eventually brought my bike running like crap to Guzzitech for a custom map. It became a whole new bike. Bikes with early era FI should be remapped. Newer stuff is a case by case . But to get specific to the MM in the V11? Get it reflashed. Not doing it you're not just sacraficing power for tone you're doing your bike a disservice.. I need to do more research and see if someone will share their map.
  13. I think they are great. Low rumble at idle but not annoying when riding. Just what I wanted.
  14. That there , my friend looks like a Ghezzi-Brian with a shitty paint . If I had room in the garage Id be all over that. A good repaint and that thing would be gorgeous.Just not for a starting bid of $35k. That dude is smoking crack... $10k-$12k you can build your own. I thought the same thing but there is something to be said about a "factory built" special and a homebuilt kit. I don't think you can even get all the parts anymore. The brakes and wheels? The custom parts for the frame, etc.
  15. John, my brother needs to sell his BMW and he may pull the trigger on this. I'll let you know as soon as possible.
  16. Overrevving (easy to do with the 2S cam) was the demise of the Combat. Treat them fairly and they won't blow. I don't know what you mean about the gearbox needle bearing, I believe you mean the roller bearing conversion (although higher quality ball bearings work better) on the mainshaft? That was not Combat specific, the blame has traditionally be placed on Portuguese source ball bearings and affected only some bikes, more likely then 850s.
  17. Make sure you ping me first when you are thinking about letting the Lemans go.
  18. That fairing makes me want to cry. Looks like a R90S or a replica of one. “German styling”
  19. Radomly off the internet: http://www.fuelinjectorspecialists.com http://www.rcfuelinjection.com/Store/c/fuel-injector-cleaning I had the injectors on my Corvette services a while ago, it wasn’t expensive. And there are 8 of those! $65 isn’t horrible for two but again the guy doesn’t seem enthusiastic about it. I’m sure he charges those poor Mercedes owners twice that much and they’re happy. Has there not been a good injector service discussion around here yet?
  20. $65 for two is a bit steep for most Guzzi owners. I don’t doubt the quality of the service but the apprehension suggests there might be better options. $20 is about the going rate per injector from some places and it’s not a bad idea to get it done. Unbalanced injectors could definitely cause issues.
  21. Screamin’ Chicken for lunch. The bike screams too. Well, more like it growls. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. So now you know how the Norton owners feel. Over 100 lbs lighter and a hoot to ride. That being said there are many times when the V11 can’t be beat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Uh oh. Turning into a Norton thread. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I need to see more pictures of that Norton.
