  1. Untitled by swooshdave, on Flickr Getting closer. Gave some tugs on the footrest bracket and then flipped the bracket. Tightened everything down. Looks a lot better. It's really hard to get a dead ahead shot when the bike is leaning and trying to line up the lens. The right side looks a little higher in the picture but I'm not sure if it actually is. Untitled by swooshdave, on Flickr Untitled by swooshdave, on Flickr If anyone has some Mistrals installed could you let me know which way you have your brackets?
  2. I would have thought the left side needed to move much more than that. Careful observers will notice that the left side muffler bracket is on the inside and the right one is on the outside.
  3. Your passenger pegs are different? I’m afraid to look for a crack on the frame.
  4. Can someone measure their bike and let me know what these distances should be? IMG_1633 by swooshdave, on Flickr IMG_1633 by swooshdave, on Flickr I assume the right side has to compensate for the driveshaft, etc. so they may not be the same. My left side footrest hanger is definitely pushed in. I just don't know how much to pull it out.
  5. IMG_1633 by swooshdave, on Flickr I didn't realize the stock clamps are spot welded to the mufflers. Which does make it handy but there was only on clamp with the Mistrals. Two new clamps on order...
  6. I need to make sure the rear hangers are in the right place first.
  7. Oh, it's a horrible fit. Some of it's the angle but the left side is still pushed in from my crash last year. I had pulled the passenger footpeg out but I was afraid I was going to snap the casting so I only did it a little bit. I'll post some better pictures soon as get some advice on how they can be better.
  8. Untitled by swooshdave, on Flickr 12 days from Norway to Oregon. Not bad! Untitled by swooshdave, on Flickr I think there was $100 worth of bubble wrap alone! Untitled by swooshdave, on Flickr The most interesting think about getting parts from different places is what people use for packing. Untitled by swooshdave, on Flickr I almost want to try Norwegian pizza... almost. Untitled by swooshdave, on Flickr They are cleaner than the last pictures I saw. They are used with some dings and such but so am I, I mean so is my bike. Untitled by swooshdave, on Flickr I can get the band and rivets new from MG Cycle. I even asked them about the price a new connector pipe. They said no one had ever asked that before. They happily sell single mufflers but a new one wouldn't match the other side. I'll do what I can with what I have but really I just wanted a deeper sound. I got spoiled when I heard @Jazzamoto and his FBF mufflers. They'll go on later tonight and there might even be a video...
  9. No need to apologize, the forum is an amazing resource and we are lucky to have it available to the V11 Sport community.
  10. Depending on the angle it could be a problem. The latest drones have multiple sensors to help prevent hitting things. The Air has front, rear and bottom. Some of the bigger ones have side sensors. They are very effective.
  11. I have seen several videos on it. The most successful (despite some crashes) was with a DJI Spark. It went pretty fast. Early videos with the Mavic Air (like I have) seem to be much slower (sub-20mph). The may be due to advance obstacle avoidance technologies in that aircraft. Perhaps turning it off may let it go faster. I haven't gotten to the point to test the active tracking but rest assured... I will at some point. But I don't think it will track up a tight twisty road. We are still a couple years out from that level (there are some drones that can but they can't go that fast). It's takes not only the optical tracking but predictive intelligence to look where it thinks the object will go and not just react to where it turns.
  12. No, it's due to the issues that the forum has been having. Once those are finally resolved it should work again.
  13. Practicing some motorcycle shots.
  14. Yes, they are carbon fibre. Beautiful bike.
  15. What is the ohm rating on the stock coils? I believe you can get the Dynas in 3 ohms too.
  16. Dang, that's clean. Are those side covers carbon fiber?
  17. Finally, my video from last weekend. Plenty of Guzzis to be found.
  18. I’m sure someone has tried one of those. Probably looks like a Griso fairing.
  19. Pretty sure that MG Cycle has a relationship with Stein-Dinse, and you can definitely get Mistrals from Stein-Dinse.
  20. What is?
  21. The video was put together by my buddy Mike. I’ve still got to cut mine together.
  22. 2018 OVM (Oregon Vintage Motorcyclists) Show at Corvallis, Oregon. 39th Annual event. Actually they think it's 39 years but no one can remember back that far... IMG_1502 by swooshdave, on Flickr IMG_1503 by swooshdave, on Flickr IMG_1514 by swooshdave, on Flickr IMG_1515 by swooshdave, on Flickr Yes, that would be two Black Shadows, not just two views. IMG_1526 by swooshdave, on Flickr Gentleman wanted $10k for a heavily modified T3. Not going to happen in a million years. Maybe if he had made it look like a V7 Sport. IMG_1495 by swooshdave, on Flickr IMG_1490 by swooshdave, on Flickr I have never seen a carb setup like this. I'll post a couple videos later.
