  1. Well shoot, you're right. What is the prefix on an EV or V11 (non-Sport)?
  2. I’m not sure what you plan on doing with the bike but it will be worth a bunch less with a non-matching engine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Can't you fix the crank and rods for less than a different engine?
  4. Like they said, cam and head. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Sounds more like a Wades the problem, not the clutch.
  6. Wow. Luckily I don't have a passport. Or any liquid cash.
  7. I'm not far behind. I think the real problem is that we don't want to throw away the old stuff even after it's worn out because we know how much we paid for it (a lot!).
  8. Thanks, Laurent.. I've been looking for a right one since I got the Mighty Scura several years ago. Pete binned it on the way from picking it up at MPH to SoCal, and beat it up pretty badly. From the pix, yours are better than my "good" one. Sometimes, patience *is * it's own reward. You're welcome.
  9. I bet it would sell faster with decent photos. Unless they show too many blemishes.
  10. Yes! I'm waiting patiently for the Mistrals. They are apparently tucked away in a Norwegian cabin no doubt surrounded by protective reindeer.
  11. So it’s got extra stuffing? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Visiting some Italian relatives at lunch today... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. That was on Craigslist for longer than I can remember. Customized (and maybe from a crash). I'll pass (again).
  14. I saw that on Facebook and was wondering how long it would take to show up here.
  15. Totally agree. Although I've had a Darmah lust for a while. The poor 860GT is a stripped down 900SS so any parts they share have 900SS prices. The 860GTs seem to be on the rise price-wise so that's good (sadly just because they are worth more as 900SS parts).
  16. That's what you feel like you get when you are standing at the parts counter.. Sadly there are no places you can buy parts over the counter for these old bikes.
  17. No hammers are required for Ducatis. Gloves are to protect the bike, not me...
  18. It's a shame they don't bring any money. And silver with a dash of red! Meraviglioso! Orange! Actually I don’t know what color the Marzocchis use to be... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. That is a cool fairing. What is it?
  20. It's a shame they don't bring any money.
  21. Fired up the Bevel Ducati for the first time in years with what I believe are some stainless replica Contis (http://www.keihan.co.uk). And yes, it sounds awesome. It's got some bark so I actually prefer a deeper growl. I'm looking forward to trying the Mistrals.
  22. I have shown this before but I'll torture you again. I got the rear fender sorted. A guy on Wild Guzzi hacked a stock T fender to work like a Sport fender. It's not bad and works until someone pays the dear cash for a replica Sport fender. That seat is still hard. After an hour I get off to take pictures not to take pictures but to get off!
  23. Bald Peak is a local state park that is often frequented by motorcyclists because it's not too far away and offers great views of one of the valleys. But I always wanted to see it from a different angle. Gratuitous Guzzi shots at the end.
  24. Send LaurentG a message and do it quick! I’m passing on the Staintunes although they are gorgeous. Not the first mistake I’ve made in my life. I mean... today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
