  1. Does anyone have an odometer knob kicking around they would like to sell? I don't really need it but I thought I'd ask.
  2. There was a lovely V11 Sport at the local Ducati dealer. While I wasn't going to get it, although I was lusting after the exhaust, a nice gentleman picked it up and posted on one of the Guzzi Facebook Groups. We talked him into joining here (buellwinkle) even though the registration process can be challenging. He's been asking me questions everyday (which I don't mind, paying it forward for all the questions I've asked here). I had the dad off to spend with my dad while he's visiting so we decided to stop and see buellwinkle. Since you know I don't mind taking a picture or two I thought I would share some with you. Of course I took a picture of the relays because I knew docc would ask. The grey relays are Bosch. My dad is in the grey and buellwinkle in the green. It's missing the steering dampener. Which might not be a big deal. Otherwise it's very clean and looks well loved. buellwinkle is absolutely smitten with it. Welcome to the asylum!
  3. Well, it was. It did save the tail section from more damage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. A Guzzi is an Airhead with a soul. And cylinders that don't sag.
  5. Seattle area (always lots of Guzzis there because of Moto International) https://bellingham.craigslist.org/mcy/d/2003-moto-guzzi-v11-lemans/6559256212.html https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/mcy/d/2000-moto-guzzi-v11-sport/6568767642.html(a little rough) https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/mcy/d/2003-moto-guzzi-lemans-v11/6562619683.html

  9. No kidding. That one scared me the most. I probably shouldn't mention I bought my entire bike for twice that much.
  10. Those are some serious Buy It Now prices. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I kinda want that exhaust. Pretty sure the frame is toast. And maybe that front wheel...
  12. It was $15! When I’m right feel free to quote me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I think the whole assembly is around $15. Don’t quote me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. https://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19908&p=220400 Get one of the Ducati Monster footpegs sets from eBay. Under $10. Has springs in it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Left-Right-Front-Footrest-Foot-Pegs-For-DUCATI-Monster-696-796-2009-2014-10-11-/221714910393?fits=Make%3ADucati%7CModel%3AMonster+796&hash=item339f3d0cb9%3Ag%3Ay14AAOxyf1dTH~1V
  15. Because of the way the Go Cruise works applying the front brake releases the device. It does take a rider cognizant to set the tension correctly.
  16. I do like the Go Cruise 2, the plastic one shown above will break. I've seen a few carcasses. https://www.amazon.com/CRUISE-2wheelride-gca1bk-universal-Acelerador/dp/B00ERXG4TM/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1523505488&sr=1-1&keywords=go+cruise This is what I used on my fly-n-ride from SF. It's simple but it does require you to adjust the tension. It would be hard to overtighten but if you did you would be in a bad place. Just snug enough to hold the throttle and no more.
  17. And people think that groundhog just is a stunt! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Yesterday we had a nice storm blow through, 50 mph gusts and plenty of rain too. Not riding weather. Tomorrow is suppose to be nice again but I'll be at work. Lining up nice weather and no work is not easy.
  19. So it's a snowmobile? This Spring has been crazy.
  20. What size is the replacement screw? When you do your bike can you take step by step pictures?
  21. Getting in as much riding as I can before the weather turns bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
