  1. Too loud is annoying but loud enough is crucial. Currently the bike is too quiet and not safe. I've had more than one driver (ok, far too many) look up from their phones when I'm on one of my other bikes. I just need something to get their attention. Oh, and I might not mind a little burble too.
  2. I'm interested if they are the same version as mine. There are apparently two versions. How about a picture?
  3. Yeah, might have to readjust the rear preload when you replace the stock mufflers!
  4. I've seen all kinds of options including lower footpads and higher seats.
  5. I'd trade a V7 for a Griso in a heartbeat. Trade in the V11? No way.
  6. Anyone know the approximate shipping weight for some Mistrals?
  7. I’ll send you a PM.
  8. The answer is yes it makes sense.
  9. Somewhere there is a thread on what the stock mufflers look like on the inside. More convoluted than one would think but then again these are Italian. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I don't want a 2 to 1.
  11. Yeah, but all the dead Veglias there should be some unloved ones laying around.
  12. My dampener is turned all the way off. How crucial are they?
  13. So, give me your address and I’ll come by and steal one.
  14. I really do need louder mufflers. Do you have some kicking around you don't need? They don't need to be perfect condition. Need to be loud enough so the wife can hear me but not so loud that she complains about it.
  15. Does anyone have an odometer knob kicking around they would like to sell? I don't really need it but I thought I'd ask.
  16. There was a lovely V11 Sport at the local Ducati dealer. While I wasn't going to get it, although I was lusting after the exhaust, a nice gentleman picked it up and posted on one of the Guzzi Facebook Groups. We talked him into joining here (buellwinkle) even though the registration process can be challenging. He's been asking me questions everyday (which I don't mind, paying it forward for all the questions I've asked here). I had the dad off to spend with my dad while he's visiting so we decided to stop and see buellwinkle. Since you know I don't mind taking a picture or two I thought I would share some with you. Of course I took a picture of the relays because I knew docc would ask. The grey relays are Bosch. My dad is in the grey and buellwinkle in the green. It's missing the steering dampener. Which might not be a big deal. Otherwise it's very clean and looks well loved. buellwinkle is absolutely smitten with it. Welcome to the asylum!
  17. Well, it was. It did save the tail section from more damage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. A Guzzi is an Airhead with a soul. And cylinders that don't sag.
  19. Seattle area (always lots of Guzzis there because of Moto International) https://bellingham.craigslist.org/mcy/d/2003-moto-guzzi-v11-lemans/6559256212.html https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/mcy/d/2000-moto-guzzi-v11-sport/6568767642.html(a little rough) https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/mcy/d/2003-moto-guzzi-lemans-v11/6562619683.html

  23. No kidding. That one scared me the most. I probably shouldn't mention I bought my entire bike for twice that much.
  24. Those are some serious Buy It Now prices. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
