  1. I chuckled at someone thinking a Guzzi vibrated enough to loosen a well tightened oil filter. Commandos have an external filter and you can bet your sweet it’s got a hose clamp. Because 360˚ twins, especially 750cc+ ones will VIBRATE. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. Does anyone have a picture of where the jubilee/hose clamp rest against? Is it pretty obvious? I didn't stick my head up into her guts but there seemed to be a lot of clearance around the filter.

  5. I’m ok with both. I also don’t get my feathers ruffled when people just collect bikes. Sure they were meant to be ridden but there’s also a benefit to preservation. And so if some bikes are built as art pieces and bring more people into the motorcycle world, all the better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Supernaturale was super clean. I could live with the "grab rail". Flat Tracker was ok. The other flat tracker Guzzi was more tasty.
  7. This one did not have a hose clamp around the filter but it was on really really good. It was not going to come off by itself. The filter sockets is so I can get it tight enough. Notice I didn’t say too tight. No Roper plate yet. On my list. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I got the pan off and used a strap wrench to take the filter off but then stopped and ordered a filter socket so I can get the filter nice and tight. It’ll be here Monday. No Roper plate. Not yet at least. The gasket was put on dry. I’m thinking a little Threebond on the top side? Or just put it in dry again? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. He got a wristband and was very excited. He lasted from 9-11:30 which was pretty good. We got to see most of the bikes.
  13. Just got back from the show. I’ll share a couple pictures and then a video later. Got to talk to Craig Rodsmith again. Plus his video guy was there so that was really good. Some folks from Piaggio were there but I didn’t have a chance to talk to them. They were suppose to meet with the local Guzzi club at some point.   20. Ironically the newer gauges use cold LEDs and the old incandescent bulbs would actually warm up the insides and get the humidity out.
  21. I think the problem is that it's not in metric.
  22. You should be able to export your CAD drawing, if not a PDF then at least a DXF. If ya'll need any help with file conversions just holler. Oh, sure, it'll export a DXF file, but unless a guy has a cad system that will read it, what's the point? Am I missing something? (not unexpected) Because it's easy to go from DXF to PDF. Well, for someone like me.
