  1. I don't recall if I did anything. I know the damper works (although I keep it wound out). http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19822&p=219758
  2. Does it move around like this? Should be a previous post of mine with the same question.
  3. Regardless it all worked. Thanks!
  4. I would have probably used ffpmgX for that kind of stuff. But then again I don't know what you used to capture it with and what format the original was in.
  5. Kickstarter info, if you're interested. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2143748536/i-fidanzati-della-morte-engaged-to-death/description
  6. Nice. Thanks!. Would it be possible to upload in the original aspect ratio (4:3)? Side note: Rossa Corsas make me tingly... down there...
  7. This movie was talked about in this thread so I thought I would give it it's own thread. http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=15908&p=227700 From what I understand the restoration of the movie was a Kickstarter project: You can rent the movie on Vimeo here: https://vimeo.com/ondemand/engagedtod... You can purchase the DVD here: http://www.rodaggiofilm.com/prodotto/... And to make it more fun the movie has been submitted to the Portland Motorcycle Film Festival, of which I'm one of the founders and help put on the event. I was able to screen the movie last night to see if it is worthy, and boy, I had a hoot. The best part was all of the vintage bikes (Guzzi, Gilera, Norton, BMW and more!) and lots of racing. The rest is 1950's Italian melodrama which seems campy now but I didn't care! I'm pushing hard to get it into the festival and it will be awesome to see it on the 50ft screen! In the post-credits I recognized a few of the names. If you supported the film let us know! Here's more info on the film festival: http://www.pdxmotorcyclefilms.com We raise thousands of dollars each year to buy safety equipment for the local road racing club. Plus we get to share great motorcycle films with fellow motorcyclists. Here's an article about the film festival: https://www.revzilla.com/common-tread/judging-the-portland-motorcycle-film-festival
  8. I'm going to start a new thread on that movie. [ 11202017 docc/edit: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=20212 ]
  9. During summer when I was in college a worked a temp job at a spring shop. Made everything from tiny little springs to car coil springs. It was too long ago for me to remember much about the details.

  14. Any chance you will be able to shoot video during the various processes? So cool to be able to watch this fix happening all these years since the bikes were made. And people wonder what we chat about on the forum... aside from which color V11 Sport is the best... (Green, if you were wondering)
  15. The Kid.. being an aircraft mechanic thought he'd like to know what the oil temp was, so he called MG cycle. Gordon said, " I'll sell you one, but you won't like what you see. Then, what are you going to do about it?" That Gordon is a salesman, now.. The Kid decided he was probably right. An oil pressure gauge may or may not be more useful.
  16. My wife is bugging me to update my Christmas list so she can get her shopping done. What's on your list that's Guzzi related? Bonus points for a picture and a link. I want a MG Cycle t-shirt but they are apparently in the middle of a redesign and don't have any in my size. I have a few books. What else cool is out there? Mostly in the small, stocking stuffer size.
