I've mentioned these bikes before but this is the first time I got to see them in person. I don't even know how rare the Ghezzi is but I can tell you I've never seen one in person, except for the one at Barber. I will say it's the first time I've seen a Coppa. The owner is attached to a very long air line and will never ride again. Next time you're sucking on that cigarette look at your bikes and ask yourself how long you'd like to keep riding. I don't know much about the Ghezzi like how many of this model they made but I I was told it's an 1100 Spoti engine. I think it's a V11. You will have the only one on the block if you have this in your garage. And by block I mean state. Or country. I believe the asking price is $15k. The Coppa is almost as rare, I was told that about 40 were brought into the states? And about 200 made? It needs a good cleaning but it's what you can expect from a low mileage bike. While cool the next Guzzi for me will be a Lemans (either the old one or the new one).
For me the Coppa is a tarted up V11 Sport that isn't worth twice what a similar version goes for. But what do I know?
I believe the asking price is $12k.
Speaking of expensive this is what we were down there picking up. A non-running bike for an extraordinary amount of money. Luckily not my money. The good news is that when it's back on the road I should be able to take it for a spin.
