  1. Dang... good thing it's so far away from me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Dang, that's too close to me. What a steal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Challenge accepted!
  3. You guys are so off-topic I'm taking my toys over to Wild Guzzi.
  4. This is coming up really soon. We'll be booking flights very soon. We should arrive Thursday night, swap meet on Friday, racing and museum on Saturday and packing up and leaving on Sunday. Is anyone going and do you want to have a meet up? Anyone taking their V11?
  5. Dang, I was eating when I saw that picture. No appetite now. I'd still (sadly) take that Bimota over the BMW.
  6. I was wondering if someone was going to spot the Aprilia. Currently at the top of my list of ugliest bikes ever:
  7. You guys are mean. It's not that ugly. The tank is a little funny looking but sheesh, have you looked at some truly ugly bikes? I can't think of one Japanese bike that looks better that this thing.
  8. Didn't the last Coppa on eBay do $12k?

  10. I've mentioned these bikes before but this is the first time I got to see them in person. I don't even know how rare the Ghezzi is but I can tell you I've never seen one in person, except for the one at Barber. I will say it's the first time I've seen a Coppa. The owner is attached to a very long air line and will never ride again. Next time you're sucking on that cigarette look at your bikes and ask yourself how long you'd like to keep riding. I don't know much about the Ghezzi like how many of this model they made but I I was told it's an 1100 Spoti engine. I think it's a V11. You will have the only one on the block if you have this in your garage. And by block I mean state. Or country. I believe the asking price is $15k. The Coppa is almost as rare, I was told that about 40 were brought into the states? And about 200 made? It needs a good cleaning but it's what you can expect from a low mileage bike. While cool the next Guzzi for me will be a Lemans (either the old one or the new one). For me the Coppa is a tarted up V11 Sport that isn't worth twice what a similar version goes for. But what do I know? I believe the asking price is $12k. Speaking of expensive this is what we were down there picking up. A non-running bike for an extraordinary amount of money. Luckily not my money. The good news is that when it's back on the road I should be able to take it for a spin.
  11. No pic? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. There are so many things it could be. These are not the points and carb kinda bikes. How confident are you that all the wiring and electronics are back exactly where they should be?
  13. $30 ea is almost palatable.
  14. That big bolt originally was for the frame. It should be able to take a lot of torque.
  15. Tons of accessories. Low miles. Not sure I'd be worried about to much. Price seems reasonable. I'm just not sure who would want a silver bike... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Is he camping? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Am I going to be the first one to say this, what kind of monster leaves their bike outside?
  18. That's the Mini Guppy, built on a StratoCruiser. The perspective doesn't show it but that plane is tiny compared to the building. TINY. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aero_Spacelines_Mini_Guppy
  19. WWII Blimp hanger in Tillamook, Oregon. Now home of the Air Museum. I'll put the video together in a few days and you get to see the scale of this place. About 15 stories tall. 7 acres of floor space. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tillamook_Air_Museum Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. World's largest wooden building. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. You may need your reading glasses to see the bikes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I don't baby mine and I don't think I've gotten mileage that low. docc will be along shortly to renin to to give it a proper tune up. Of course you didn't take off the airbox, right? That could cause the lower fuel economy.
  23. Might want to also put it in the classifieds section. Not everyone checks this thread.
