  1. I apologize for the lack of V11s. I was asked more than once where was the green bike! I said I had to ride the vintage one to a vintage show. For those of you who want to shoot some videos you can see some of the effort the goes into it here. What you don't see is how long it takes to edit it together, and it gets more complicated when you have multiple camera. I use a GoPro Hero 4 and a knockoff. I don't mind hanging the knock off on the bike... I also have an external microphone that I attached to my back to lessen the wind noise. I need to secure it down better as it was bouncing around. The other suggestion is to cut and edit ruthlessly. There was a good hour of video that I cut down to a couple minutes. I want to tell a story about my day but I don't need to give you every detail. Another suggestion is to leave the camera running when you are off the bike. The most entertaining scenes are caught that way. Be prepared to edit out incriminating evidence. Let me know if you have any other questions.
  2. Photobucket is so slow these days there's no hope of getting the photos off. I have the originals but they aren't as well organized.
  3. Pictures! Especially the pork chops!
  4. Mine too. Left side has a mark, right side no mark. We'll see if running non-ethanol helps. I try to whenever I can... afford it.
  5. iMovie. I'm working on one from the show today. Two cameras, multiple angles, external microphone. It's a lot of work. One rule that I try to adhere to with riding videos is no clip longer than 30 secs. No matter how fascinating the scenery might look it gets monotonous for the viewer. When I can I'll break it up with a cut or even better a different camera angle. The V11s are tough as there aren't a lot of places to mount the camera. The older bikes are easier as there are frame rails and other things. But you may want to look other mounts.
  6. Pictures? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. My light usually starts off dim and then the longer I ride the brighter it gets. How long are you going after you see the light? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks! Someone has already offered one. I appreciate it very much! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Oh, it works just fine. I just need to do a better job of figuring out exactly how many gallons are left when it comes in. So it's more a matter of operator error than instrumental error. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. So you got out of there before the flash floods?
  11. Ok, now I'm getting perplexed. Last night the light came on an I rode for about 20? more miles and finally got to the ethanol-free station (4.699/gal). I thought for sure I was on fumes. 168 miles... I shoved as much gas as I could in, even stood the bike up straight... 4.387gal. 38mpg The time it was sputtering (see above) I got 161 and 5 gals even. 34.6mpg. (mountain roads) Next time the light comes on I need to mark down the mileage. Someone here must have a dead Veglia and can sell me the trip knob... I do need to take a ride down to Medford to the nearest In-N-Out and see what pure highway miles do.
  12. The third and last pictures are epic.
  13. They look like the ones I've seen on fuel injectors.
  14. My best guess is Metripack.
  15. For example this is a knockoff AMP Superseal I'm using to replace the connector on my heated grip because the wire got pinch by the steering stop. I replaced the entire connector as I couldn't match the original connector. Cheaper and faster to do that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Can you catalog with pics the different connectors? Pics of the connector ends helps the most along with a couple shots of the outsides. Does that make sense? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Crazy thoughts are why we're all here.
  18. Sending them a report that they are showing a Sport instead of a Naked. Nice site Butt everyone has a big butt - Pee Wee Herman I have short shanks call it the Gorilla Build that works for a Construction Laborer so the leg angle is really off. 30 years ago I found out if I had normal shanks I'd be 4 inches taller --- just call me "stumpy" Also I see the site has some errors. By the site my V11 his 2" higher in seating than my Griso 1100 where I know the opposite is true. Mark They warn that the seating height is "contentious". Also there are settings so you can adjust the leg height (inseam) for the more simian-like.
