  1. I wouldn't recommend removing the spring, at least switch it out with the seat release one first. With the clutch lever pulled in you should hear rattles (twin plate). It should be quieter when in neutral with lever released.
  2. I like mine. Set the "choke" and let it idle for a minute or two. Then ready to go. I guess an automatic fast idle for cold starts was too much to ask in 2001?
  3. It's that kind of attitude (along with a sprinkle of greenie attitude) that makes this forum such a great place. "When you lose, don't lose the lesson." - generally attributed (although perhaps incorrectly) to Dalai Lama. Quotes are never incorrectly attributed on the internet. Ever.
  4. We learn as much from our mistakes as our successes. So if we only post our successes we're only learning half as much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. They don't technically have to.
  6. So the $20 bulb puts out 200 lumen and the regular one is 1850 and you're complaining? The blue/white is very effective at one thing, drivers seeing you.
  7. We need a better "new owner and forum member's checklist" otherwise known as "what you will get yelled at first about". 1. F'n Relays - docc 2. Winkie light - Kiwi_Roy 3. Why didn't you listen to the first two guys - Scud Something like that.
  8. I didn't know there was now a lumen and color requirement.
  9. So does it actually crossover or just kiss?
  10. The V11 bucket is about the same size as the 850T one. About 5in deep. For $20 you can confirm the bulbs I recommended work.
  11. You can get those cameras on Amazon. Get the best resolution you can.
  12. One can fail from repeated use. One cannot.
  13. So what are the OEM connectors? Or is there a mix of AMP Superseal and Delphi Metri-Pack?
  14. Well, yeah . . . you know where to post your results! Wild Guzzi? [moderator edit: ] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. When I'm forced to Speedhuts I'll dust off the 3D printer and make some parts to help seal them up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Back then the cars had equally bad brakes so it was even.
  17. Aren't the instruments protected by the outer cover?
  18. A typical mod on any EFI engine with an air temp sensor is to put it somewhere cool to richen the mixture. That was before the days when you could just remap.
  19. AGM is Absorbed Glass Mat, a type of battery. Yuasa is a brand. Your's is a Yuasa AGM. Do you not have a charger? You will need to get the battery charged at some point.
  20. Nice! Do they actually connect? Will you post a video? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I'd kill to have a battery at 12.67v. When they drop into the 11s I start to have problems.
  22. While I don't disagree that it could be the battery it usually something as simple as a loose wire.
  23. I would not worry about the battery too much. I suspect it's not the problem.
  24. http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19510&p=211537 The diaphragm spring is especially nice. Properly set up it can be a one finger lever.
  25. I'm actually surprised there aren't more customized V11 Sports. But then I think about how perfect they got the bike out of the factory (except the f'n relays) and maybe it not worth customizing.
