  1. That's why there's safety wire in the tool kit! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. That reminds me I need to ride up to Moto International. See, saving on shipping already! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. While this was actually a left/front or right/rear (note the drain hole) it will still work just fine. Thanks again BigBlock! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Well, yes but being a proper Guzzi owner (i.e. Cheap, er, thrifty) maybe a button head for $.20 is the same thing? Besides shipping will be 8x the price of the part! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Not the one he has circled. The one that pushes the switch. This looks like a hex head but the one one mine is rounded. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. something I looked at last year and posted... It got me thinking about a color change. Researching the vin breakdown, every number or letter is accounted for except the 9th. KR is the model (Sport?) and AKR is the variant (LM?) The 9th is described as undefined, or free. It has a range of 0 to 9. Anyone have any idea what that is for? None of the rest are reserved for color. The vin on both my bikes are the same but for the 9th (the LM is a 4 and the Tenni is a 6) and the last five (serial) Anyone have a green bike with a 9th character other than 2? 7. [Guzzi content!] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. It looks pretty thin. I have a thicker black wire I can add.
  9. The bolt on my bike almost looks like a standard button head. The one docc posted looks like a hex that has been ground so the head is rounded?
  10. Remember, silver bikes are just green ones they forgot to add the green tint to...
  11. The photo was pretty dark which made it more difficult. And that red is a tough color to match on a good day. But this should be close:
  12. I tried to but it's crowded up there. But I also didn't try very hard. I'll look again.
  13. I believe one of mine has been replaced and the needles don't match. There are markings on the back on the instrument that says something like "Used Checked Good" or something.
  14. There's a ground wire on the regulator. Is this stock or did someone add it? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. I got the new Michelin Pilot Road 4 on the front. Extremely sticky. Can't wait to try it in the wet. Actually I can wait... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Are new bezels not available? For Smiths they use an elaborate contraption to roll the crimp back on. You can also do it if you have a lathe.
  17. Paint them orange and then a UV resistant clear.
  18. My torque wrench does ft lbs and kgs. Those might equal NM but I just went with what I knew.
  19. Yeah, you'd just expect the brake calipers to be explicitly listed. Strange that in the owner's manual they tell you how to take the front wheel off but don't tell you the specs to put it back together. I put mine at 37 ft lbs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. In my copy of the workshop manual Section F Page 18 it doesn't specify the torque for the front calipers. Nor in the Torque Specs Section B Page 12. This is the 03/01Version. Where did I miss it?
  21. Reply with a nice big photo of your bike, please.
  22. Don't take 97 the whole way and you'll be fine. Better yet take 101. There are some rough spots where stuff has washed out but most of the time it was a blast.
  23. Ok. The muffle mount was hitting the fender so I took it all off and pulled the footrest out. I should be good now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Great. More bent parts. Did the cast aluminum piece bend or did the muffler bracket? Or both? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Has anyone ran no crossover and what did that do? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
