  1. +1 on what Phil said, fix the Volt issue first. I changed to a regulator who feeds directly to the battery, no more 30 amp issue. Cheers tom.
  2. Bet most of the oil’s today are well within Guzzi specs. But again the best available for the gals. I use Orion 870 . Cheers Tom.
  3. No fire here either, just smiles. Put in a 70amp relay, why not overdue it. Cheers Tom. Sent fra min SM-A505FN via Tapatalk
  4. Finished the wiring the same way as GStallons did, after reading a LOT. Just havent put a relay to the wiring yet. Gene just used a relay hanging around. Just me, why not use the best relay available, right ? Woud it be enough adding another Omron ? Relay 1 and 2 are talking together, so the extra relay has to be better ? Obvious didn't read enough first time, feeding power to 30pin start relay,,, oh well, lights and oillight on. That fused powercable just went in the Greenie, perfect. Yes I like reliability from the gal IPA time. Cheers Tom.
  5. Relays. How many here on the forum has done the upgrade with an extra relay for starting, 03 and newer bikes ? What kind of relays were used ? Did I miss this somewhere ? Cheers Tom.
  6. At least one time in your life , listen to the Docc, get the best relays available. Is there any better around ?, bet it woud be mentioned here on the forum. And your saying your bike were running with those relays, just wondering how they woud fit the base. Just curious I quess. good luck. Cheers Tom.
  7. Did this today, probably missed the relay size 40 - 50 amp ?, 1 Omron originally doing the job, 2 must be better , or go see a tractor dealer for a 70amp ? Missing a relay base, may be seeing a scrap yard tomorrow, don't see that base will be available at any store tomorrow. Cheers Tom.
  8. Happy old boy. Just bought a Nero Corsa in Germany. Getting her further north will be the next challenge. 2000miles roundtrip, when possible. Anybody going North with a Van? Cheers Tom. Sent fra min SM-A505FN via Tapatalk

  12. Ugly is bad. AGM Exide can handle 14.8 V, prooved 2 seasons, but it drops the V when battery is full, of course Cheers tom.
  13. First time Odyssey here, says 0121 on it, jan 21. 12.96 V delivered. Dropped voltage a bit, and charged with 7amp CTEK. 5days 13.03V - 13.00V. Will check that my charging system can keep up with the Odyssey. $ 272,so. Cheers Tom. Sent fra min SM-A505FN via Tapatalk
  14. Phil, it Don’t exceed 14.8V. Cheers tom.
  15. Or, you can do a small job with another regulator, feeding 14.73 V idling, directly to the battery. Then you can forget about the 30amp fuse. Cheers Tom Sent fra min SM-A505FN via Tapatalk
  16. Just saying, regret is a word I never use , I'l have another IPA. Cheers tom.

  18. Winkie lights,YES, things like this are quite easy to be pushed away, she is running good, right. Winkie and better charging lamp up front, fed from fuel petcock, fuse 8. 23. We are all different,,, reading this is like reading Donald Duck, all good . I mean if the swingarm bearings are that bad, that would be Very noticeable riding,YES. The tire could have had the wrong rubber compound , put together. Anyway we are all going faster the older we get, watch out young lads. Campfire talk. I’m a lefty, but like rights turns, even from young, skiing, motocross, biking ++. Friday gents, IPA time, wild quess, 70days more hibernation. Cheers tom.
