Just saying, go back to april 22, all will be forgotten Cheers Tom. -
Bikes with internal pump don't even have a petcock, so I left mine open. Last owner had bought 2 new pet cock's, didn't last long before leaking. Then I had the chance for free to invest . Got the sliimy O ring out, after some filing, correct one in. Discovered different tread lenght on the cocks, making it harder to make sure it woudn't come loose. Make sure all hoses are in order, NOT perfect but no more leaks with a tiny strip of JB w, a little redneck I know. 6mm outlet on the 90 degree adapter, shoud be enough, but why the 90 degree ? I have to check the houseing route tomorrow. Cheers Tom.

This happened idling outside the house, taking care of idling. First time for everything. Ex valve quide a little loose in the chamber side. See the hitting mark on the the valve. Ordered the quides when I got the bike, thinking mileage. Will do the other head to. Not to hard inserting new quides, but with new valves seating perfect to the seat. I have them done perfect by a real professonal. Redline is there for a reason, so only when needed [emoji482]. What a bike. Cheers Tom. Sent fra min SM-S906B via Tapatalk

Intake valve shows the reason for extreme clearance, and not running well. Cheers Tom. Sent fra min SM-S906B via Tapatalk

Done 500+km now with the yellow 1100Sport. Running perfect in the usual trouble area, a little fast idling, not perfect, but very rideable. Today I was going to adress that. Had her going perty good idling ++. Suddenly not running well on both cylinders, WHAT? More valvenoice on right cylinder, yes. Spark good on both cylinders. Of with right side headcover, extrmely intake clearance, didn't measure, but 50mm easly. WHAT? NOTHING LOOSE. Busted pushrod ? Took it out 1hour ago, after buddys left, friday here 🍻. Pushrod look perfect. Ok, valve seat/valve trouble ? Tomorrow another day, thoughts/ experience welcomed. Cheers Tom.

Sorry no Guzzi, K1100RS with EML sidecar. Superb German enginering. Rough on shoulders in low speed. Cheers Tom.

Share your lithium battery experience; cold environment, durability, else?
Tomchri replied to p6x's topic in Technical Topics
Not much experience with Li-Ion batterys, but there was an EXIDE ELTX14H 48wh 240A installed in my 1100 Sport ( yellow). She was parked sep 7, chlutch gone. When parked it had 13.52V. Had the battery in now to check everything is working, no smoke. Not a lot of use, but holds 13.50V now = 7months . AMAZING i think. Cheers Tom. -
Cheaper, check connections from alternator. Bulletconnectors and all kind of horrible connections. Mine started to flip the tach, then misfiring and dead. Melted connectors. Cheers Tom.

Yes it took awhile before lesson learned about the octane hunt. Back in the days it was possible to get 110 octane from a buddy working offshore. Cheers Tom.
