  9. Have those bulbs in my 03, 04, V11 and patterns is like a regular H4 halogen, only brighter. 1100 Sport needed some grinding on the bulb to get the lock working. Don’t fit in my 01 Greenie steel housing. My 99 has an aftermarket smaller housing with enough length to fit. Don’t ride a lot after dark no more, but no dought, BETTER. Cheers Tom.

  15. No, but fairly simple to do. I put it under the battery tray, check clearance. Idling 14.73 on my greenie, and not even a red one. . I did install extra terminals + and - , only 1 cable on the battery. Some pictures on the forum somewhere. Others here have installed it to, all seems happy. Cheers Tom.
  16. Seems you enjoy mileage, so just install a good regulator that connects direct to the battery. Your electric system on your bike will thank you. I have installed 4 Shindengen 847 from Roadstercycle, GLAD I did. Cheers Tom.

  18. And help the soldering points in the switch by making a little loop on the cable and secure it to the switch, easy strap or tape. Every time you turn the handle bars is stress on the wires/ soldering. Cheers Tom.

  21. Had the pleasure of visiting Meinolf with a couple of ECU’s, since aim not a computer guy. BIG respect, so just listen to the gentleman. Not easy to get it correct first time, you will D feel the difference after a few try’s. So take your time doing it. Cheers Tom
  22. Just me saying, you will need new rubber anyway, do it before the trip home. Stranded at the road, usually more expensive and you don’t have to tell yourself what an #kr&%- l was. Have a friend who bought one VERY cheap 3years ago. Why, last owner gave it up. Wasn’t rideable in the 3k range. Last owner left it at a dealer who put a PC on it, paid a lot money, still NOT good. My friend knows computers, still did a lot of tuning with the ECU. Now she is running good. Bike has more than 90k km, no problem. Hopefully a nice trip home. Cheers Tom.
  23. Comments here better left alone. But absolutely agree, each rider set their best time, period . Cheers Tom.
