  2. Looks like a nice example for a good price.
  3. It took me over 2 years of looking to find my 2004 Ballabio last April with only 3565 miles. Not very many out there let alone with low miles and well cared for.
  4. jazzmoto -- glad it's working for you!
  5. I have the MRA Sport X-screen on my Ballabio. It's clamped to the stock shield and sits horizontal to the top of the stock shield so it looks like a "T". It redirects the airflow to the top of my chest giving me less turbulence. I also use the touring version in combination with a tall Givi screen on my Aprilia Caponord Rally. John W.
  6. 2000 miles and 4 Days to fly to Overland Park, KS and ride a 1993 SPIII back through Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and Oregon in July 1997.
  7. The Ballabio screen had black edge material that I had to remove to fit the MRA Sport Wing. I didn't notice any difference with the edge material on or off. Saeng edge material might help in some circumstances. I used it on a taller windscreen on a SPIII. It raised the airflow about an inch -- a lot of money for just a bit of improvement..
  8. Footgoose, Over the years I've had the best luck with Madstad and MRA systems. I'm not getting buffeting, just wind noise. However, you're right about my helmet - a Shoei Neotech modular. The only non modular I have is a dirt bike helmet which does have a full closing shield -- I'll give that a try.
  9. When I got my Ballabio it had a Laminar Lip attached to it. Lots of wind noise with the air blast just below mid helmet height. I've since tried it w/o -- no improvement - and with a MRS sport wing which is adjusted to nearly horizontal to direct the air flow to about the bottom of my helmet. Still more wind noise that I can tolerate for more than an hour or so with ear plugs. Do any of you know if there are other windscreen alternatives that will fit the Ballabio/Scura/Capo Italia fairing?
  10. Blight, thanks for the link -- great pictures of motorcycle history.
  11. I installed a set of StainTune mufflers on my Ballabio. Thanks to BigBlock -- a great seller who moved on to a pair of Ti on his V11.
  12. Thanks for the reference and the dwgs. Not sure what I'm going to do at this point but it's another good option.
  13. Another possibility might be that the fuel injectors are partially plugged. It's probably a long shot, but it should be relatively easy to pull each injector in turn to check the spray pattern and flow. Good Luck -- love the original V11 color.
  14. You might want to check the fuel filter/s for partial blockage. That happened to a Ducati 907ie I had -- it would run great below 6k but would bog after that. Turned out that the fuel filter was restricting flow at higher rpm.
  15. The Ballabio fairing doesn't -- the windscreen has the DOT # and MG part number.
