  1. So still in BC? Same owner? One of ours? Needing a new home? Do tell.. Came from Washington a few years ago apparently. Then owner had it here in North Vancouver. Was sold to new owner. New owner took it to Chilliwak Guzzi. Complete rebuild. Engine cases redone in crinkle, but don't match each other. Drive line was left stock. Crank had to be machined down due to connecting rod bearings being completely shot. I saw them. They were completely damaged. 1600 really really hard miles..? So weird. Body work was a mess. Over all completely neglected. Might pop up again one day. Thought someone might want to know whats happened to it. Hate seeing that. Here was the add listed in our classifieds for that bike. http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=20135 The description... um.. ya. That is not even close to reality.
  2. FYI. Saw Tenni #127 with 1600 miles. Poor thing is rather rough. Has had an engine rebuild and cases refinished. Bodywork is well marked up. Sad.

    1/4 Scale

I didn't catch that price, where did you see that? And, you have to think of it this way, £8750 is what percentage of a really MV factory race bike from that era? Less than 1/4 I'd wager. https://www.classicdriver.com/en/bike/mv-agusta/750s-america/1975/390908 https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/15320/lot/534/ Not even close Huge money.

  5. Great story! One never forgets first love
  6. ZGUKT makes it a V11S, but I don't see a C01. Maybe it's a modified Billy Bob? No, that's a B01.. It's a guzzi.. If you go to here: Cafe Sport Registry http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=16233&page=3 Look up Jet's bike in Fort McMurray, it is identical? To Ian. His VIN matches Ian's format. 7. FTFY. LMAO... I had to look up FTFY....
  8. That is interesting. ZGUKTC Did Cafe Sports have C? B on the Ballabio?
  9. Until the spring or clutch breaks. Now that was funny right there!
  10. Follow this thread perhaps. Its covered crossovers before. My error I believe. It was the FBF one. http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19379
  11. Ill find that for you
  12. Lets start a thread of interesting links. Here is one of my favorite blog sites. Just tonnes of cool motorcycles and cars show up there. http://lecontainer.blogspot.ca/
  13. Well.. for what its worth. Stucci is no longer made and prone to cracking. (edit... thats FBF not stucci) Mistral fits exact and is quite decently made in my case. The stock ones are cheap. Seem to perform well enough. There is literally almost nothing inside the stock unit. There is a flat "baffle" of metal plate with holes in the middle mounted horizontally half way up.. kind of cutting the bottom and the top area in half. Can't say that the Mistral makes a tonne more noise than the stock. But I would say its deeper sounding in a nice way. Overall I have no complaints about mine.
  14. lol... I think Scud needs it. Its green and hes down one.
  15. Ya that one is listed here in the classified section by the owner
  16. I RODE IT... yup... November 27.
  17. I have no words. Wow.
  18. Buy here on their official site: http://www.rodaggiofilm.com/ not risky. It uses paypal as a purchase method. Vimeo VOD https://vimeo.com/ondemand/engagedtodeath Both secure.
  19. This is good info
  20. Translation: new toy

  22. National? Whats this of which you speak I think I may need to attend. We can ride a bunch of us down! That would be awesome.
  23. I do not think that is quite right. One way puts the flat section in the V of the motor. The other puts the angled section down the spine. The parts manual shows the flat section at the the top with the angled side toward the bottom. Having done it both ways it definitely fits best in this orientation. Either seem to work however. I had the joy of doing it twice. lol.
  24. You can fix some of the slow speed issues with a gearing change. It will not solve all. It truly hates slow speed. They are a box of rocks Especially if you run an open clutch. There is a "quiet" clutch mod that does work pretty well. Funny the V11 and ST both share a dry clutch and a similar rattle. Neutral is a royal pain in the ass on them as well. Clutch pull is heavy, but an Oberon clutch slave fixes that easy. The clutch is also prone to slipping in hot weather. Especially slow speed stop and go traffic. They simply HATE it. Hit the twisties though and it drops lovely into the corners and almost everything is forgiven. Especially with a nice set of cans on it. The Ducati Performance ones are way too loud. FYI. Watch the secondary connector at the front of the bike under the fairing. They are prone to corroding the wires on one side of the connector. Pull back the black sheath and check them. It will save you. I will think of more I am sure. lol.
  25. ST2, ST4, ST4s, ST4s Senna, ST3. ST3s ST2 would be most similar on power with the V11. Riding position is a tad more aggressive on the ST. Definitely lighter. But oddly.. that weight while lighter is not as balanced. Fairings are the same on ST2, ST4 ST4s. ST3 revised the upper fairing. The lowers are the same for all models. The rears are also the same. ST3 had the best seat of all of them. The S models all added Ohlins and Forged Marchesini's
