  1. Does anyone have a adress for gearset in Europe? Of UK? Thanks Verzonden vanaf mijn iPad met Tapatalk Pro
  2. Very interesting to read all your infos, thanks. I think it's clear better tuning the V2 than take a V4. Another question are the gearratio's. I came from a Ducati St4. with (too) long ratios but the Guzzi is very short. In the shortest time you are in 6th gear and at higher speeds it running a lot of rev's. Are there possibilities here? Gearbox other model, other set of gears, different rack and pignon? Verzonden vanaf mijn iPad met Tapatalk Pro
  3. Hello Guys, The virus of the V11 is under my skin so I have another question. When I'm looking for parts for my V11 I saw that they are very expensive in some cases or not deliverable anymore. But secondhand is OK in most cases, so the question is from what kind of Guzzis have the same: - engine block, crankcase , cilinders and piston - camshaft, cilinderhead - gearbox - transmission. An exempel is the speedometer unit in the gearbox. What other Guzzi has the same. I know the list of replace units from other brands on this forum, but I could not find a Guzzi comparison Futhermore are there possibilities to mount a big bore or a 4 valve ? Especially from a other Guzzi model? On my V65 I mounted a 4 valve Lario-head and it's running much better. But I can't find 1-2-3 something here in the forum, so I think this is much more difficult . Thanks
  4. Hey guys, Thank you all for the response. I figure it out and I'm afraid that will take some time. But when I have a solution I promise to give the solution. Why Will it take so long? You US guys made me clear that we Europeans are irresponsible. So that will take some time for visiting a psychologist. But I'm afraid that he can't cure, as for many Europeans. But to be honest I drive it not every day and this was for a try out of my just bought V11. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G950F met Tapatalk

  6. Hello , no it’s a V11 Lemans 2002. I replaced the clutch,so the speedo was taken out of the gearbox and replaced. But I replaced it and nothing changed. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPad met Tapatalk Pro
  7. I have a strange problem. When the bike comes to 200 kmph the needle of the speedometer collapse to zero. And from that moment the meter fails to work. Until I stop and from that moment everything is ok until the 200 Kmph. Anyone any ideas ? Verzonden vanaf mijn iPad met Tapatalk Pro
  8. Hello Scud Is iT still possible to order the spring? For the Netherlands too? Verzonden vanaf mijn iPad met Tapatalk Pro
  9. Hello, maybe a leak in the inletmanifold. Spray with breakcleaner in the area from cilinder to throttlehouse and nothing must change. If the engine is going to run different then there is a leak. That can produce the caugh. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPad met Tapatalk Pro
  10. Ok Thanks. But there must be a groundleak. When there is to much resistance then the current will go down and that makes the job for the fuse easier.
  11. Thanks bbolesaz, The main difference is the headlight arrangement I think. How did you analyze it is the key switch ? It is in the beginning of the startcircuit and it has nu ground connection by itself. In my case it is fuse F5. Is it wrong to think that only and only relais R1 and the circuit after that can cause the problem? By the way I I cleaned the groundcable behind the seatlock. Gr. Dirk
  12. Hello.here I'm again. First of all sorry for my English, I'm a Dutchman. As I wrote earlier I studied the schemes before diagnosing. And so I found a corroded connection to the startmotor , I cleaned it and everything worked fine. But 30 minutes later the V11 refused to start (motor) again. I measured the connection cable to the starter motor with the cable off and it had 12,4 V with a battery of 12,45 (it's cold now). So I thought it is OK. Then I plugged the cable back on the starter motor and the the voltage on the starterclamb (starter refused to run) came up somewhere between 5 and 9 V. And after 5 or 10 sec's the fuse was blown . This was accordingly my original problem. Startingbutton on for 5 sec no starting but the fuse went blown. But then I take a normal wire direct from battery tot startermotorconnection. The starter motor was turning fine and the engine was running almost directly. And wonder o wonder after this, now starting with the starting button works as new. (but for how long?). It irritates me that I can't explain why I have the voltage so much down and the fuse blown. Is this a short-circuit in one of those famous black relais? I switched the relais one to another a couple of times, but there is no difference in my problem. I know there is quit a lot written about this item and I read a lot of them. But they did not help me so far to explain my problem. Thank you for helping.
  13. Hello Roy, Thank you so much for your work and information. I hav bought a v11 LM 2002 and it won't start. I thought I study first and then I find this. Great.
  14. Hello, Is their an possibility to match the VIN number to the change of the chassis (longer) or other changes ? Or to the year of building ? I love to by a Lemans. Thank you so much.
