  2. Hey Doc, best I can tell it is all hooked up, per factory. I took it off my Ducati Monster, 2014. Sold that bike. The new bikes (some) the computer senses it is missing. I think a light comes on and stays on. Maybe once i get the LeMans all sorted out I will mess with this. I hate to throw another variable in the mix right now. So close to having it run great. Know what I mean? Gil
  3. Geez, think this one comes from the tank, cant imagine anything but fumes goes thru it. Will run with it on, and off to see it there is a difference. Plugs into a barb, top of the canister.
  4. Hey Chuck, I think part of my problem is the low fuel light came on, and I read stories about running out of gas in a hurry. So I came home, and dumped some Non Ethanol Premium gas (containing a fuel stabilizer that was probably on the heavy side on how much to use) . The computer and or sensors may not of liked that too much. So, took my truck and got some good fresh premium and filled it up. Ran pretty good today, only died once at throttle chop ,and went to 1000 RPM at stops and stayed there. The throttle bodies have been re balanced, but I have know Idea why the dealer did it at 1000 rpm. I did notice a hose off the charcoal canister while cleaning it, and stuck it back on the canister. So this ride I took the hose back off, cant imagine that helped anything unless it made a difference with it being off during re balancing. So, will continue to ride it, and get back to the dealer and get the idle up a tick and the book says Vac gauges need to be used to set idle correctly. Thanks, Gil
  5. Thanks Doc, It is never simple for me! Will check this out. What RPM to you run yours?
  6. Greetings Group, First, thank you for putting up my stupid questions. You guys have been great. So here is another one. My bike Idles at 1000 rpm. Sometimes even with the enrichiner on full the bike does not want to keep running while warming up. And after it is warmed up it Idles at 1000 rpm, and sometimes when coming to a stop, or corner, and the throttle is chopped and it dips a bit below 1000 rpm and recovers, or it may stall. I rode it Saturday and it was about 45 degrees F, ran great . Today it is 80 F and the Idle is down. How do I correctly kick the Idle up to 1100 rpm? It looks to me if I adjust one Idle stop screw the other Throttle Body will follow along. The manual says a vacuum gauge must be used to set the idle. Is this true even for a small change? I think if I get it up a tick it will help things. Thanks,
  7. Think I found it, Hepco and Becker. Just need to verify for sure. Thanks, Gil
  8. Thanks, hope so. Never seen one like this. Looks very well made and not too big. Just nice for a medium bag. Gil
  9. Nice Docc, but looking for the back rack builder. Thanks
  10. Greetings, Can anyone help with the model, brand , make and vendor of the rear rack and bag supports tor this 2002 LeMans? And the make of the bags to fit this. Looks well made. Picture attached, I hope. Regards, Gil
  11. Good comments. Lets not use the term steer for motorcycles. Its not a car, the push right, left is easy to practice and will come natural when you need it. Riders do it riding everyday and are not even aware of it. In a panic situation it must become "natural". One mistake in a corner leads to many.
  12. I think that is a good idea also. The V11 of mine is 16 years old now. Lubricants have come a long way in that time. I see in the manual they say a add "Moly" to the oil. Think it was for the rear drive. I would imagine there are synthetic gear lubes that are better now.
  13. You guys just use the Sig 3000 exclusively on the splines? What about for the grease fittings back there, same stuff? Thanks
  14. Sorry I missed your message, but I have a set on the way. Thanks for the offer.
  15. Thanks folks, got them on order. Appreciate the help.
  16. 1) Scroll to the top of this page. 2) In the green shaded post, click on the blue text link for "digikey" 3) On their website, change quantity to 5 before ordering. (I see they are $4.37 each and recall that Digikey doesn't overcharge for shipping.) Thanks, Much appreciated. Will order 5.
  17. Sorry to cause the heartburn, got it now.
  18. Ok, did my best to read this information on relays. And it sounds like (I have a 2002 LeMans) 5 pin relays can be used in all slots. So, what are the best relays to purchase and where can I get them? Thanks.
  19. Good question, that are the best relays, where can I buy them , and can we replace all of then with the same relay?
  20. Nice video!, my brother just sold his Buell Ulysses. Nice bike, only complaint it was "hot" to ride. Seem like every manufacturer has one! I am new to this Guzzi thing, where have I been my 50 years of riding!!?? Lots to learn and thinking of what Guzzi do I want next? Wish they would build a "new" SP, or V7 style bike with some more CCs. Oh well, have my hands full now!!
  21. Thanks for the reply tip, daa, I will learn. Just about to ask about the "bad relays" I hear about, and what to replace them with. Then comes the "shifter prawl spring". Not to open a can of worms, but are these issues something I need to address with my 2002? Well I did it, asked the question!
  22. Thanks guys, those risers do the job, but do not take away from the bikes looks. Looks like the way I may go. Little over a 2 inch rise with the MPH ones. And MPH uses some very good replacement braided line from Germany, good to know. If I am missing any drawbacks give me a shout. Someone asked where in Wisconsin I live, South of Milwaukee. Learning this site, could not reply just to him. Thanks again, and I am open to any other suggestions. Lots of questions, but one at a time.
  23. Thanks Guzzisti! Those risers look to be the answer. If you use them, are the lines they supply of good quality? Thought I could get by with the OEM lines, guess not. Regards.
  24. Greetings, I am new to the forum and will do my best not to ask questions about tires, oil and other annoying subjects. But I cant promise. Just picked up this bike, very low mileage. Likes to stall while slowing down to stop, but idles great at around 1000 rpm. May be as simple as kicking the idle up a notch. Bike runs great. Would like to have the bars up, and back a bit without changing the style and looks of this beautiful bike. Any suggestions on the bars without going thru a full blown change? More about me approaching the "old fart" stage of life and refusing to give up riding the cool stuff. Appreciate being a member and looking forward to your suggestions. Thanks.
