Any body got one lying about?

Thanks.. Switch fitted, new oil, new fuel tank to pump fuel line seems ok too. All good now..lights out as it should be.

Thanks folks, I will order a new switch tommorrow. Got the old one off and i am now replacing the tank to pump fuel hose. This forum is great. I would be lost without it

Hi folks, I started the bike today and the oil light was on, through the revs, not flickering, on solid. Searched this great site... Took sump off, filter tight. No recent oil changes ( so not 2 filter gaskets ) Nothing horrid in the sump and strainer clear Oil level fine. Refitted sump. Tried to remove oul pressure switch but seems tricky without removing tank. ( sundays job ) Any pointers would be great, is it likely to be the switch ( when i pull the wire off the light goes out ) Or something else ? Cheers

Just a quick question, can i run 5 pin relays in all the positions ? I know only one needs 5 pins, but will a five pin work in the others. ( cutting down which spares to carry )
-
Thanks for all your help . Bike is running ok, but i am slowly working my way through all the connections. This really is a great forum. I wish i lived in the US

I will try, new ones, thanks

I carry spare relays under the seat, and i changed the pump one at the side of the road, didnt work. Can relays be intermittent ? Cos i put the original back after it didnt appear to be the issue.( original being an omron not original original )

Thanks folks, this a great forum. Bike will now will start under all the above conditions, but i would like to find an issue so i can have confidence again, the fuel pump is buzzing away well, but i dont trust it. I will source a new pump ( thanks docc ) but not sure thats it, do they fail interrmitantly ? ( spell ). Cant seem to find a reason it didnt work. When i disconnected the sidestand and it worked i was happy, but then all back together , no pump. I can only think connections on fuel pump. I think my rides will be near home for a while, but we got a great burger place 15 miles away so 👍

I took the tank off, pulled apart the sidestand switch conector, pump worked ! Great Put it all back together, no pump. Apart again, checked pump connections, a bit loose but not terrible, cleaned and tightened them. Bikes running now, but i think the pump is intermittent. Any advice about a replacement ? Thanks folks

I have the omron relays ( after all the great advice here ) I changed the fuel pump one and the fuse . The 30amp fuse was a bit melted but still functional unrelated i think., changed that too. ( got a maxi fuse ready to fit.) Battery on charge now so gonna have another go today. If i remove the sidestand relay will that indicate its that or not ? ( sidestand switch )
