  1. Sorry I didn’t know they are still available for order.
  2. I would love a pair of custom Daytona boots. They are the pinnacle of motorcycle boots and depending on the model, could very well last you for as long as you’d like. Plus you can custom order them in just about any color combo you can think of. For the record, I wear Vanson competition weight leathers and the GP armor, plus Vanson gauntlet gloves. I bought my first and only Vanson and it was custom made for me a very long time ago. Not to hijack threads... but I wanted to throw these guys in the mix because they are truly world class plus American made. And I wear a Bell Carbon Fiber Race Star Helmet. Good night!!!
  3. I’ve always worn competition weight Vanson leathers. I have the whole GP armor set in my jacket.
  4. I wear Gianni Falco Boots. I currently have the Eso race boot in Tricolore...
  5. Buzzetti Adjustable Shock Pre-Load Wrench My new rear shock will have hydraulic preloading....
  6. I have a set of regular length brackets and pegs. Make an offer
  7. https://www.af1racing.com/store/ProdImages/st3/2003motoguzziacccat.pdf Dang.....wish They still offered this stuff.. and i don't see risers in this catalog.
  8. I don't want to spread disinformation... When i remove them i will take pictures and find out just what they are. I thought they were factory accessory from the logo.
  9. Guzzi must have offered risers as my bike came with these I don't care for them and they will not work for what i am planning. If you'd like them then let me know.
  10. Gene.just wait till you see how righteous the forks that i just finished finalizing will look I have your rack boxed up in what i'd call "Apocalypse" proof packaging. If they arrive in any condition other then perfect, then i will finally believe in extraterrestrial life. Plus i had a ton of packing material left over from my tank and tail... enjoy! hehehehehe I'll have my set available should you like to Righteousasize Your V11......
  11. I would think so. I didn't bother taking any snaps because i wasn't very confident it was going to work. I had to run it around the tube about three times before it sealed. I went around it once, pumped the forks...still leaking, did it two more times and went for a 20 or so mile "good" ride around the lake (lots of low-medium speed tight right and left hand turns) Then stopped for a coffee. When i got back home it was dry. I just went to look and it's still dry after sitting all week. here is a pic from 10 minutes ago....
  12. Oh that’s sad news indeed. My thoughts go out to and yours Chuck.
  13. Well.... I’m just going to leave my helmet on... the whole time. I’ll bring long straws
  14. I wasn’t even looking for a wheel. Joe Caruso asked me to buy him a Ducati 750 wheel from eBay because the seller wouldn’t deal with international types. So when I bought his wheel, eBay has those “recommended for you” things and boom there was this rear wheel for less then half what they go for. In a moment of blood lust I’m stabbing the “buy it now” button
  15. a fair portion of my saving will be spent buying all this crap :/ it does have something like a Cush drive. See #4 & 5. I’d be super disappointed if I paid the $3,000+ they list for annnnd cough up about 1,200 worth of crap to make it work. I paid $1,224 w/ shipping so that’s still cheaper then list price for just the wheel.
  16. Wow! One down and one to go! TLM had the MGS-01 rear wheel on sale for about half what they cost when you go looking at the spare parts suppliers. Hopefully I can get lucky finding the front wheel for a discount next!
  17. I started a new thread just for this: Prices are unknown at this point. The more people that want them, the lower the price will be as the costs to make the tooling can be spread out. I’m not doing this to make a couple dollars either, so whatever Exotic Car charges is what it’ll be. It would be fair to say that they won’t be competitive with what you might find on eBay/Amazon from some dodgy outfit in the CCP.
  18. It’s just looks. The heavier weaves like 3-4K and up make getting complex curves very difficult to look right because it bunches up. For our applications, these are plenty strong in factory 1x1. Even Ferrari uses 1x1....
  19. 3x3 twill runs in a lineal pattern. Factory 1x1 is like square shapes in the weave.
  20. Sounds like Orc mischief to me....
  21. If you are interested in getting brand new covers and chin pads, please let me know. I’m having my starter cover re made and I was asked about the Chin Pad that was factory on the Scura (maybe other models too but Idk) They can be made using the factory 1x1 plain weave or in other, more Interesting weaves. For example, I asked for 3x3 twill which I really enjoy for my bike. More people that would like to order these, the cheaper they get. We can spread the cost of making the tooling over more pieces. These are made right here in America too... no crappy Chinese for me...
  22. They sit up against the fork tube quite snuggly. At least on my Öhlins. Can’t vouch for your set up. I was really surprised to find any debris in what looks to be a fairly tight seal. Clearly something worked its way past and got into the fork seal to make it leak.I went on a 20-30 mile ride around the lake to test and when I got home it was dry. I’m glad because I really just wanna pull them off when the time comes. My fork project is.... (as most everything so far) becoming a great consumer of my time.
  23. Rope? That will be broken down and of no use fairly quickly. I still suggest a high temperature potting epoxy. Even consumer grade stuff will be more then sufficient. If you look at some high dollar German tools like Festool, you’ll see they incorporate UV protection and everything is dunked in potting epoxy. I found a suitable and readily available product. MG Chemicals 832HT  High Temperature Epoxy When I get to addressing this situation, I will be using this exact stuff.
  24. I used a very thin flat blade screw driver for electronics. Just be very methodical and it will slide down. I forgot to mention I gave it a light wipe of silicone after blasting it w/brake clean
  25. @docc Have you pulled the dust seals down and noticed any crap? When I pulled mine, I found some dirt and debris. I was amazed.. Blasted it real good with brake clean and wiped out that inner dust seal. Also noticed my fork oil looked like spoiled ambrosia mixed with a little corn starch :/
