Congrats with the new Breva 1100! It's a fine looking bike IMHO and I'll definitely look forward to hearing about your riding experiences. My wife (strongly encouraged my yours truly) has also set her eyes on the big Breva and I think we'll have space enough in the garage for a number two... German motorcycle magazine "Motorrad" did a comparison test in the September issue (together with the BMW 1150 and the Yamaha Buldog) and they were quite impressed with the Breva. The only hiccup was lack of top speed and and no ABS brakes. The Beemer won off course but that's typical "Motorrad": Every time they test a BMW it always gets top marks. Cheers Søren

Hi Rick, You can purchase the crash bobbins at either http://www.firestartergarage.it/ or at http://www.rossopuroitalia.it/start.htm. I'll probably throw some cash in that direction soon 'cos a complete headjob (I'm talking about the motorcycle! ) is far more expensive than a pair of plastic thingies I assume (Dunno the price). I tipped my bike when I was about to open my gate and the damage done was a broken indicator and some scratches on the valve cover, mirror and clutch lever. My ego also got a scratch and I can easily live without that.... Best regards Søren

Hi Steve, Well, it's the penulitimate word as I couldn't find anything on the GEI micro-relay (ran a search). How much are they? Where to buy? I haven't had any relay probs on my Scura but better be on the safe side just in case.... TIA Søren

Hi Easto, My V11 Scura has oval CF Mistrals (mounted on the outside of the pegs), PC III, Mistral x-over and a KN airfilter. You obviously miss the x-over to eliminate the flat spot. Go get it and have you bike dynoed afterwards, you'll notice the difference immediately. Cheers Søren More pics here:

Hi Call, I had mine done over the winter season at the Danish importer's free of charge. They sand/glass blasted the cases and repainted them, that's all. I cannot really see why it has to take more than two years?? It doen't make sense to me. Why can't they just blast te cases like they did to mine? Søren
