  1. Great shots, DBG! Seems like the weather at your end is similiar to what we have here in Denmark although it was -3C this morning and freaking cold. Still a lot of snow and ice which has to disappear before I pull out the Scura, for sure! Keep the wheels on the tarmac and keep them spinning. All the best Søren
  2. I'll echo that. Rukka is produced in Finland and is originally made for snowscootering. I had a Rukka jacket way back and it was worth every single penny. Expensive yes, but you won't save and freeze your b%%#" off, aye? :-) Good luck with your purchase, Antonio. BR Søren
  3. The so called 'Whale Penis Taillight' is a Crocker inspired taillight. Had one on my Harley FLH 1967 waaaay back. Love the bike (the Guzzi that is) and as Guzzirider says it should be pretty much straight forward if you have a Tonti frame and lots of spares. Best regards Søren
  4. Welcome back, dlapierre :-) Old love never dies! I think Jaap can help you as he went down the same alley like you tranforming his V11 Sport into a Naked. Jaap? Cheers Søren
  5. Brilliant! More or less like KTM RC8 which is a stunner IMO Søren
  6. Coming! Have just sent Jaap an email. Will book a room tomorrow at La Chausse. Any roommates? Ballabio Bertie? Søren Just sent an email to La Chausse :-)
  7. Congratulations to you Jaap with your new purchase. Bike looks stunningly in the black/cobber colour scheme IMO. Well done, Dan! Another colour combination could be pearlescent white with BRG contrast pin stripes. I'm not a photoshop whizzkid, but here comes Dan again, inshallah.... Or what about traditional black and gold as seen here on Team Sundance's Harleys? The bikes are named "Daytona Weapon" due to their succes in the Daytona races Søren
  8. She still looks like that BTW, Ratchet. Has been snowing more or less non-stop for the last month or so. And we'll get more snow tonight.... Getting cabin fever now! Two bikes in the stables, wife's Monster 695 and my Scura, but absolutely no way anybody can take them for a spin........
  9. The greatest rider of all times IMO. Sorry, Ago, Vale, Jefferies et al - Joey was the man. Incomprehensible English for a bloody Dane though! Thanks for sharing, BFG! Søren
  10. Good ol' Chuck Norris, who else? "My name is Chuck Norris and I approve this"! Søren
  11. Danish engenuity at its best! Bloody mad men are they but I wish it was me... BR Søren
  12. Works ok here in Denmark, Jean-Marc...
  13. Congratulations, Dimitris! All the best to you and your family :-) Søren
  14. Now we're talking... Søren
  15. Hmmmm, not my taste! Butt ugly, 'nuff said. Søren
  16. Good to hear from you again, Guzzibiene :-) Hope you're doing fine and I'm looking forward to seeing you at La Chaussee. Best regards Søren
  17. Ooops, almost forgot about donation eventhough I was the first in line to encourage everybody to follow OrangeOkie's request. Have just been a good boy and donated 50€. Søren
  18. Guy, you're da man; the king of Huddersfield etc. With a bike like that you can chat up all the dames down at the pub... Guess Helen wouldn't appreciate it but you get the picture. That's a jawbreaking, gobsmacking awful good looking bike we have here, Guy. Built just the way it should be done with crash bar and the lot. Chapeau as they say in France. You'll ride that bike to La Chausse, aye? Søren
  19. I think it originates from a Honda RC51/SP2 but I won't put my head on the block.... Søren
  20. Salute, check out this babyblue and orange coloured V11 cafe racer. Reminds me of the Gulf sponsored Ford GT40 from the Seventies... Looks sharp IMO Søren
  21. Aye, Captain Jaap! Yours truly and HMS Scura will set sails for La Chaussee as ordered. Søren
  22. Great trip, Paul! Thanks for sharing. Best regards Søren
  23. I've read in several magazines that Joey was a very modest and humble man. In his sparetime he drove his truck - stuffed with clothes - to an orphanage in Romania. What a man! Hats off and respect! It's also incredible to watch how easily he reels in the other riders on the track; it's more or less like they are parked when Joey overtakes them. Furthermore he makes it look like a lefthand job; no big fuss about it. I wish I had a tenth of Joey's balls but I'm just a poor wimp from Denmark.... I envy you Gino - big time. Must have been a thrill and an exprience to ride with da man himself. BR Søren
  24. Oohh, good ol' Craig Vetter and his (in)famous Windjammer fairings..... And what about his one??? PS. you mentioned a 70's goldwing.... the 76 wing is stripped down to naked with a clear shield, is in my father-in-laws stable and runs like a champ. Very fun ride, I highly suggest one. But get rid of that way to heavy vetter fairing, it's just too ugly makes the handling a bear. Someday it may become a cafe. Yup, agree to that! Cheers Søren
