1. Simple as that! Tak/thanks, Niels. I don't understand why people order this TPS breakout cable from overseas, and pays $50(!) in shipping? Too lazy for soldering? dkvolt.dk also has an almost complete cable for DKK 36,- ($4)
2. Not a cloud in the sky up in the mountains today. Calm and warm. Should have been in the basement fixing the Greenie, but no. Not today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
3. Welcome! Two beautiful ladies you have there. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
4. I prefer to have a manual cock:)
5. Thanks, Phil. My suspicion is confirmed. I thought it looked like two soldering points at the bottom of the petcock, but ... electric petcock on a 2000 V11? Wasn't that introduced the year after? Keep up with your EFI research.
6. Today I removed the tank and did some fuel line inspection. More work to do... Fuel level sensor wiring was broken. (Now I know why I ran out of gas in the wilderness 7 months ago...) Breather hose and fuel hoses was worn. This is very embarrassing; I mixed/f*cked up and tried to close the «strange petcock» on the right side. Yes, I tried to close the regulator. After 15 turns I gave up and took off the hose. Nice and dry. Over to the other side. Removed the hose. Fuel! A lot of fuel. I was prepared for it and had a fuel hose and an empty petrol can beside me. I just drained the tank empty from the hose. A greenie and his Greenie. That’s me folks! I’m thinking about replacing the petcock. Any proven ones? Or just let it be and use pliers? One more thing. There’s angels among us. Two thumbs up for a very helpful gentleman aka Tomchri Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
7. So it was you I heard earlier today. I was at my cabin in the Norwegian mountains and thought it was thunder...
8. Thanks for your answer and opinion! I understand that there are different opinions on this topic ... No doubt, the aesthetic means something. I like the open bike / café racer style, but also weight reduction and ease of service. I have to give it a second thought ...
9. Big mistake to remove/remake the air box? I've seen a lot of users here with big K&N filters...?
10. Haha! It’s a looong process, docc Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
11. I did not found a new partner this winter. Bad priorities... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
12. It’s November, isn’t it? Well, today I finally started the winter maintenance. There is still loads of snow at my place, so I pretend the spring is massively delayed this year. The side cover on right side was cracked by the former owner, and I am seriously considering to rip them off along with the air intake box. I have read about the cons but the pros are service friendliness and coolness. Isn’t it? I also consider to replace the fuse box with separate circuit breakers. At least the burned 30A one. Hope you all are well and healthy. Strange times indeed. My uncle died in November, so we’ve been busy all winter, and still are. A farm in bad shape, rebuilding of the main building, paper work, money, stocks, tons of paper, tons of timber. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
13. I ordered mine from China with and it crossed my mind. They could be fine - or I got f*cked... Time will tell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
14. Don’t make it any darker, it’s really nice as it is imho. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
15. Do I need one of these? Going to unmount the oil pan for cleaning and inspection anyway, so... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
16. Not at all. Two chain hoists and four men, what could go wrong? ;-)
17. The Norwegian winter is long, cold and dark, but no hibernation. Expecting a lot of activity down there - from now to May, hopefully.
18. ...to the basement. Today we managed to get the Greenie to the basement for the winter. Jeez how big and heavy this bike is! Thanks to serious planning, good friends and the right tools, the bike is still in one piece. No damage, not a scratch! No one got hurt either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
19. Thanks, Kiwi_roy. I will def. add that ground strap. And thanks for the simplified wiring diagram!
20. This is interesting. Omron relays are on their way, so I will change them all very soon. The voltage regulator and det ignition was replaced by the former owner just before I got the bike. That's all I know for now. As soon as I have the greenie in the basement I will inspect the electronics very closely and replace bad sockets and cables. Make sure the earth has clean and stable connections. Is there any proven upgrade I should know of, regarding the electrical system?
21. Thanks for your tip. I think my battery is in good health, but can't be 100% sure of it. Haven't cranked the motor much either. Several trips a week, and it starts right away.

24. Sorry for posting in the wrong thread. Here’s the second part: https://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?/topic/21058-30-amp-fuse/&do=findComment&comment=243306 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
25. Thanks, Chuck. The seller had actually replaced the voltage regulator and the ignition switch(is that a correct spelling?) earlier this year, so I don’t know for sure. Must take a close look. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
