Welcome Doc hey,...these bikes are easy to work on, don't freak,...they are basic, all the hi tec stuff developed for the new sport bike don't apply...if you can fix a lawnmower you can fix your bike, now...the local guzzi dealer (duc and aprilia also) is terrible, they're running a boutique not a bike shop...so after my fallout i talked to my buddies who race gixxer's at cmra, also a 998 (which got wrecked so bad it's still not back at a 100%) ...well, Keith the mechanic have never seen a Guzzi before, the dude could figure everything out within an afternoon, (can't say that for his friends Montauk beemer), so screw the dealer i service my guzzi at Team Anvil's garage... don't need to make an appointment, i don't need to freak out about mark ups,...they set up my suspension, we go to do trackdays also...(weekends bef. the races) and so on, it helps that i knew the guys before, of course...so, to make a long story short, if something goes wrong it can be figured out and fixed, just like that...any mechanic can figure your bike out,... so far nothing has gone wrong with mine, nothing.. and i give it hell (in a nice way of course) just relax and enjoy (remember, if you pamper this bikes, they break down)

speed-who? i stop watching that last year, seriously... forget cable for tv, just tell your provider to hook up your computer Just the other day in my way to Austin i rode by the typical speed channel audience...this dude is driving an SSR (that ugly chevy retro p/u truck) towing a roadking w/so much chrome on it i have to squint my eyes, really...towing it on a trailer not even in the bed of the truck...i guess that p/u is not ment to haul stuff with...and the bike is not ment to be ridden...go figure...sad indeed

You know it! speed channel sucks... Here's the deal, since security got some upgrades...this is what we'll do; open your windows media browser , go to 'file' and then go to 'open url' a window will pop up and you're going to paste the following there; (just do the old cut and paste thing) http://video.motogp.com/ppv_multimedia2/360/360268_44632.wmv now, it won't just save it like last time w/right click thing...it will just start playing on your media browser...(yes, you'll have to watch the whole thing before being able to save it) after is done you just go to 'file' and 'save as' and that's it! i know it sounds complicated, but it's actually pretty simple... a small price to pay since they're getting grumpy btw;tha babes on Assen are the real hotties!!!

see,i told you... joy ride! the bike's fine, our guzzis are build like tanks, they take lots of punishment (don't ask me how i know ) and come back for more besides now your bike has history on top of character...i would not be surprised if it was used as a drive by to whack some local kingpin or to smuggle the chancellor of Alameda on to Piedmont's Embassy or something to that extent...! Hey, glad you got your ride back time to accesorize!
