  1. Using a bolt seems like the cleanest option. You can always remove them and insert brass fittings when it comes time to balance the TBs.
  2. Yeah, I was just trying to get a sense of the range of settings people have. What factors determine the correct setting? Why is there so much variation between machines? You would think two identical machines would require the same setting for optimal performance. I’m obviously not very knowledgeable about this and am trying to learn. Thanks!
  3. Hi folks, I have a 2004 Ballabio with K&N pod filters, Mistral headers, Stucchi x pipe/crossover and mistral cans. I am wondering what other people have their CO trim set to, just for reference. How high how do people go with similar mods? I have mine set to +20 and it runs nicely I'm just curious if there might benefit to going higher. At 0 there was lurching at WOT but increasing to 20 made it smoother. Thanks! Ken
  4. I'd like to know, too

  6. Thank you for this detailed response, Phil. Can I buy one of your extenders?
  7. I've found that tightening the various nuts and bolts in the shift linkage helped. There is a 6mm hex nut connecting the shift arm that seems to have enormous effect on shifting when too loose or tight. It is very finicky. What I did is bring a 6mm hex key on a ride with me to get it just right. I tried to attach an image of it but apparently the file size is too large and this site wouldn't let me.
  8. It's a 04' Ballabio. Thanks!
  9. Can you link to a tutorial on this by any chance?
  10. I'd love to purchase one of these if possible.
  11. Thank you!
  12. I forgot to mention that I've tried filling the gear box with shockproof heavy as is recommended in these parts but it hasn't solved the problem.
  13. I didn't even realize I could adjust the shift lever but I'll give that a try!
  14. Hey everyone, I've read that it's common with the V11 transmission to mis-shift. It's been really taking away from the enjoyment of riding and it seems to be a mechanical problem that should be fixed. My question is what would that entail? Which parts would need replacing and it is their a guide for doing so? I have the workshop manual. Thanks!
