Bad news. The selector spring on my bike broke again after 3000 km. For the third time in three years. In the garage they replaced 5 springs in 20 years, includes 2 times on my bike. They do not find the cause. Currently they trying to modificate the gear box by reducing the travel way of the selector spring. I hope it will work this time. Any suggestions are we welkom. What is the required pressure for the front en rear tyre for a V11 le mans? Front 120/70 en rear 180/55. I get different advice. Thanks

Le mans has been repaired. Thanks everybody for the feedback and advice. Special thanks to docc for the technical support and for Scudd for sending me a new selector spring. I think I do not have to lenghten the shift lever arm. It seems already assembled on the highest position.

I'm looking for a decent shift selector spring. They are hard to find in Belgium. I've read that you have a re-engineered spring. Is it possible to buy such a spring? I can not find any information about the sending cost for a secure envelope to Belgium - Europe. Maybe you have some experience in sending to Europe. Thanks

The shift selector spring has been replaced a few months ago. I have had since then problems to shift down. Problem has not been solved. Now for the second down gearbox problems. Maybe I can used such a new spring. First I let inspect the gearbox. Thanks for the info.

Today my gearbox stucks in second gear. I can not change the gears anymore. What can be the cause?

I bought a second hand bike. I thought he had an accident. What a relieve.

I noticed that there is a difference between the left and ride exhaust height of my guzzi of 2 cm . The same difference was mesured between the left and right height of the rear footrests. I can not find the cause. Nothing is damaged. Please check out on your bike en let me known what is possibly the cause. I noticed it when I have assembled the stucchi luggage rack. Billy I have the same problem with my 02 Lemans. The selector spring has been broken en have been replaced by a new one. Since then I have problems to shift down. Have you already found and solved the problem? I have already replaced the oil bij 75W140. It is a little better to shift down when the motor is warm but the problem still exist. The spring of my V11 has been broken. A new one has been placed. Since then I have problems to shift down in gear. Specialy 4,3 en 2de gear. The selector pedal comes back to neutral very slow. Shifting up is not a problem. Is it possible that a wrong spring has been placed? What could cause the problem?

I have the same stucchi rack. The rack is perfect but once mounted on the bike the rack is crooked at on side. I don't find the problem or the cause. Do you have some tips to solve the problem? Thanks Marc

The V11 is from 2002. The starter is realy slow. After a few attemps it starts with a dot of trottle. It just seem he will not start at all.

When starting the V11 the charging current light does not light up. I have a new battery and the voltage, when the motor is off, stays 12,72 V. I think the generator is working. I have since a while starting issues. What can be the cause?
