  2. Not the fastest but were able to preserve their tires better than the rest of the grid.
  3. 2008 Breva 1200 Sport, pricey, low mileage example....
  4. I'm happy to see Rins win again, now with Honda. Suzuki had a really good team, the factory riders Mir and Rins were top tier talent in my humble opinion.
  5. Guzzimax, my dad owned that exact model Buell, 1997 White Lightning I think. Looks like my kind of group, thanks for sharing.
  6. Skip, I only live two hours away so I can ride some Sunday, head home in the afternoon.
  7. Skip, sorry to get back with you so late but have been out of town with the family. We have some people camping at the campground at the State Park, we the 3 bedroom cottage that sleeps 7, at this point w Bill's scheduling issues we have 3 people set for the cottage with the tech sessions garage. As long as I can sleep on the couch out of the rain, were good, welcome all, just PM me. The Mary Ray Oaken Lodge has the restaurant and plenty of rooms to accommodate the spring Kentucky Spine Raider's, 270-433-7431. Bill, You are absolutely correct, the BMW of Nashville Euro Rider's Rally will be held in Burkesville KY at the same time as the Guzzi Spine Raid. This was completely coincidental with my spine raid idea adviser and myself, but hey it means that their will be plenty of cool bikes riding around the area. The Euro Rally is held in the city park and is camping with a bath house. By the end of the weekend I'm sure many will be over to kick tires in the tech session bourbon garage. * As for all interested in attending, now is the time to book a room. We are going to have a great time kicking tires, sipping bourbon and enjoying riding the local curvy roads. * I plan on being onsite Friday morning of the 19th, to open up the cottage/garage. If you need any more info feel free to PM me, thanks.
  8. The short stick issue would be compounded by a ride leader hauling @ss for 80 miles then stopping in BFE nowhere near ⛽️ 😳 just saying….
  9. It means fuel light doesn’t come on in 90 miles. I owned a 2020 Suzuki Katana 1000, the light would do this, give you gas station range anxiety. My 2001 V11 Sport does a little better, decent.
  10. Docc, the fuel is stored under the seat, the “tank” is all airbox, that said you get 3.3-3.4 gallons. With 30 mpg that’s not much range. At least on the V11 we have decent fuel range.
  11. So many may know I own an Indian Chieftain and follow the Indian brand as a whole. For the 2023 year Indian has made some styling changes to the 2nd Gen 17' wheel version called fittingly FTR Sport, the result has in my opinion similar styling DNA to our beloved MG V11 Sport. BTW the FTR Sport isn't exactly light at 490lbs and has around 120 horses, so its not a modern super naked, but V11 Sport was never quite a Ducati Monster either in its day weighing in at 482lbs with 91HP . My wife likes it and stated it looks more Italian now, well not quite but definitely an improvement or change to the original dirt racing inspired Flat Track Racer. The white color is called White Lightning possibly a homage to Buell's of the same name . The promotional video has highlights of the Moto America Hooligan class, with KTM 890's, Harley Pan America and the Indian FTR, its American racing series for sure, but fun to watch.
  12. Congrats, Pic's please.......
  13. This was way back when the crusty gas station would make you a sandwich way before commercialization had set in to Deals Gap, circa spring 1996-ish. Some old 80’s Kawasaki 1000, a Hawk GT I must of rode 7 times thru the Gap that day. My dad was riding a 96 Harley Sportster 1200.
  14. This was on a Road Atlanta trip Spring of 05-ish. I had just sold my 01 V11 Sport to KaleV11, and was riding the blue 04 EV. Those were good times, one marriage and 3 kids ago. (In a happy blended family w 5 kids now). Anyways we didn’t get rained on the whole trip, had a blast riding North Georgia thru Dahlonega.
  15. Beginning of the End for Marquez, the sport has moved on from his Honda era of dominance.
  16. The Mivv's without the DB silencers have a loud bark especially in engine braking.
  17. Goose ran like a scalded dog 🐶 today.
  18. Beautiful red frame w some painted bits & carbon fiber. Looks like later gen gauges installed too.
  19. If you had the funds to invest in a new old stock crate bike to get running, you would probably have a talented Moto Guzzi motorcycle mechanic to set it up correctly. My vote would be to get the bike running to tip top shape and ride it, sort of the same as Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum . Motorcycles are not built to be caged in boxes their whole life.
  20. Reminds me of this Triumph out of a crate, the Guzzi might start up with fluids and a battery.
  21. Nice bike, but sky high price.

    ANSWERED Best Relay

I’m a service manager for a company in the elevator industry. Most electrical components like drives, pc boards, soft starts and lastly older design relays are made in China. Parts procurement during the COVID era has been abysmal as provinces have been shut down in the supply chain, aka a China. So everything is already made in China, even if it’s branded with a western company name. Lastly the prices have almost doubled from pre-covid era. Because of this, we get drives repaired, typically the repair shop has 70 in line on the floor to be repaired, so lead times are 21-23 days before they even look at it. Sorry about the rant, but Chinese parts are the source for electrical parts.
