Docc, I’m glad you rode it home, just short of a miracle. I have a question, is the heat shield still glued to the bottom of tank? Mine had fallen off early on during ownership of my first 01 V11 Silver Sport. Off memory, that’s fading, it would act the same way riding in extreme South N’ humid heat coughing and dying while slowing down to idle. Cheap low octane or bad gas would make it have episodes too. Like Gene stated, the relay logic of the bike was functioning fine. I remember checking everything on the bike, then it would eventually fire up and be ridden directly home. Last question, how much impact does the heat shield have on extreme heat days, could the fuel be getting too hot?

MM can’t seem to qualify on that bike with a good but not factory team. He has made multiple mid grid starts and made podium this year. Some folks are going to always hate his style, I’ve found myself in that camp, especially when he dominated at HRC for many years, made the sport boring to watch. But now, he is racing as if his career depended on it. After his crash, I thought he should hang it up for the weekend, then he podiums 2nd. Imagine the superior engineering of the Ducati factory team behind him to qualify what is possible. It will be interesting next season to see, but this season has already been a special one for the Marquez brothers.

MM 93, high sides over the weekend, breaks a finger, bruised ribs, qualifies 13th, finishes 2nd in GP race

The guy in the video quipped he would trade them all for a yellow Lamborghini.

audiomick- The initial bike is a bad start to the video. Most of the bikes had been restored by different people basically describing the owner as more of a buyer than restorer. But their are many cool bikes in this collection from two-strokes to 6 cylinder bikes. The Benelli had many Moto Guzzi sourced parts, looks like the front forks and triple tree, but I could be wrong.

Being constantly on podium and only winning one race is how A Rins won a championship on his Suzuki. 🤔 Marc is on a mission to show everyone he’s still got it. i hope Marc wins next too, but Jorge Martin is extremely fast. This makes for great racing drama, television ratings for MotoGP have to be up this year.

The question is can Marc win a race this season or score enough points to challenge the 2024 spec factory Ducati’s on his 2023 spec bike. 🤔

Agree 💯 Chuck, I took it a step further with Mivv’s on my Rosso Mandello. They are glorious.

Docc 101, B roads to almost no road, many turns and twist never getting on a dreaded 4 lane road ever. GPS ridden off the beaten path, the long way home, makes for a good ride on a V11 Sport.

I agree not sure what’s going on here but, this is one of the 1st video’s w custom pipe on the V100 motor that I have found. Still sounds good. 👍🏼

The recall is way overdue, hopefully they will correct the issue completely and move on. I've driven a Model Y for about 5 months and had at east 3 software updates, its part of the ownership experience similar to owning a I-phone. Its a computer that happens to operate a car. -

I always thought that Barber's was built for MotoGP style races but can't due to the inability to run fast enough top speeds. Maybe most of the tracks listed fall into this category, except Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Circuit of the Americas Austin. That doesn't mean most of them couldn't get altered to MotoGP specs.

Chuck question, did the Mike Rich pistons create more engine vibration?
