A lot of opinions expressed here, one question who on this thread has even driven a Tesla? My guess close to none. I have driven one for work just under 15k miles so far this year, my company didn’t buy the Auto pilot option up front but can be turned on for $199 a month. That said, my 23 Model Y uses cameras not proximity sensor’s like earlier models. It has audible alarms to alert if you get on the lines of the road, it’s over the top in knowing its surroundings at all times. To say it’s unsafe is unknowledgeable rubbish. Letting the car drive you down the road is not far off, but currently not perfected. Tesla’s are overall safer than standard cars.

Another interesting spin on this philosophical debate....... KaleV11's 2001 V11 sport blew the original motor because the oil pick up assembly was loose and starved the motor. The FBF high compression piston motor that the late Mike Wells had built for me (I'm the previous owner). Anyways, after many years broken in his garage, Kale bought an 04 hydraulic EV motor from a salvage company and installed. Its hooked up to the original transmission, power commander, everything. He has rode it since, although it seems to have a little less HP.....

Interesting to note, there were quite a few track records broken this season by different teams (Ducati, BMW & Yamaha). "If you ain't cheating your not trying" method......

I wonder if any of the top tier race teams will drop off the pace after consistent fuel testing.

Jake could always seem to run off from everyone at the start of the race. Yes he is a great rider, but it does give doubt that his fuel has the "special race day mix."

I was very close until the wife intervened, will own a RE before it’s over. The new single reportedly puts out closer to 40hp, if they lighten the weight it should be a game changer.

P6x, you may be a good candidate for a V100 Stelvio with more power. From what I’m gathering from many different friends with the V85tt. They all generally complain about the stock wind issues & low ish power. But the overall low seat height, weight & power make for an interesting combo with an approachable upright seating position that they swear by as a great bike to travel on.

p6x, I've got a Guzzi buddy who has owned both the 21 Travel (20k miles) and a 23 blue V85 Evocative version (5k miles). The only thing he would have liked from the travel version is the heated grips and they aren't hot when turned on high. More importantly, he likes the stock cases better than the ones offered on the Travel version. Lastly, the screens are almost always changed or altered to the riders liking so the stock tall "travel" windscreen may or may not be a plus.

MPH still sells the riser kits, I bought my 1st set of MPH risers in 2004, the 2nd set in 2022. The only changes according to the kit is an eagle emblem instead of MPH scribed into the aluminum. The kit has always came with new steel braided hydraulic clutch and brake lines. The hydraulic clutch is tight but can be made to work, the fix is to order one for a Centauro, which is longer and makes the kit much easier to install.

Curtis has an analog era motorcycle shop, & thank God he does. I’ve had friends that ordered parts from an Italian manufacturer and he never got the order filled. But he has sold me oil gaskets & maintenance items with no problem. He also found a new old stock mud guard upstairs for my 01 Rosso, for cheaper than the scratched up salvage yard price.
