I like this guy's videos, watched a few. I've always said, "ride a slow bike fast", it's much more fun. As for 100hp, that's fast! I've done 160mph on a RC51 years ago and ride over 100mph nearly every time I ride. Frankly though, even 50hp will get you where you need to go, with a smile on your face.

Thailand, my favorite track, due to those back to back straight-aways. This year, those really favored Ducati. My guy #BB33 did not have a good weekend, poor KTM and that first turn debacle. Exciting race though!

I didn't read this entire thread, but if you search my past post, I write a bunch about this subject; set-up, SAG, suspension, etc.. I ended up at 15mm.

Hello my friends! I've just returned from my month long trip; Spain, Portugal, Croatia. It sure is good to be back! This morning I put in the new stator, it looks so nice! But it didn't do a damn thing. Basically the battery moves from 13 to 13.4, regardless of engine off, idle, or revving. I think I'll ride it a bit, and see what happens. If the battery stays charged, then I'll continue. If it doesn't, I may drop it off at GuzziTech in Orange. I'm out of ideas, and new parts!

I receive my new stator today. I guess I'll give it another look over prior to replacing it. I have a good friend, a certified Toyota mechanic giving me a hand, and neither of us can find anything. It's over 100° here in SoCal so I'm not sure when I'll get to this. Next Wednesday, I leave for a month long vacation. I hope to have this wrapped up before I leave! Thanks again for all of your help everyone, appreciate you!

@80CX100 Very interesting, and you may be onto something, thank you for your suggestion. As you stated, I am using LED in my instrument lights. I thought the R/R only used the headlight though. @gstallons I replaced my 30a fuse withe a CB, working good. However initially it did still heat up and begin to melt. Since then, I once again cut and resoldered the CB. I ordered the stator today. If not needed, it will at least rule it out with certainty.

great video from Rick's. Watching 2:30, he see no increase in voltage, regardless of throttle. This is what I experience as we'll.

@Kevin_T I have not, maybe about the only thing I haven't. I'll remove it and give it a good look. As it seems to be producing increased amperage with increased throttle, I expected it was good. Thank you for the suggestion. I still don't know why the 30 amp fuse (now breaker) heats up and melts. This must have something to do with the stator not charger the battery. @Pressureangle my riding has been 50 mile roundtrip freeway rides to and from work, 80mph+.

I tested, and tested, and tested; no difference. I uncut the zip-tied harness and inspected, all is well. I guess I'll swap the stator or I'll have to drop it off to get repaired. I'm at a lost.

the regulator has the original ground, plus the one I added. As for the ground from the battery, I'll inspect it later to see if indeed it is still there. I suspect it is as it should be. The bike is so clean, not tampered with other than what I've done, lol.

In reference to the 30 amp fuse topic, I swapped mine for a circuit breaker. However that wire is still heating and melting.. I wonder if this all has something to do with that.

@gstallons The new rectifier wires are identical to OEM. You mentioned the indicator light on a BMW. I replaced all of mine with LED, wonder if that has something to do with it. However the lights work, and have been working for thousands of miles.

@gstallons I have a fairly new lithium battery (fully charged), OEM stator, OEM harness, OEM fuse block, now with circuit breaker in place of 30a fuse.. I've only added a new rectifier.

@audiomick you must be correct, I disconnect the entire wire cluster from the positive battery terminal.

It varies depending on throttle; 40, 60, 80, etc.

I installed the ElectroSport rectifier, no change! I have amperage coming off the stator, varying depending on rpm, as it should. If I disconnect the battery while running, the bike dies. All test point to the rectifier, however I now own the original, a $40 Chinese one, and the $150 ElectroSport one and they all fail. What next, boys?
