I wonder if it's grounding out, maybe positive to the frame? -
ANSWERED No power with a brand-new battery

That fact you have zero electrics, but the battery is good, it can really only be key, fuse, or battery cable. -
15 years ago I was really into the café scene, and fell upon the new Lignano Green Moto Guzzi V7 Café Classic. I was already a huge fan of V twins after Sportster ownership. Plus, my family is Italian! Eventually I bought a 2010 V7 Café Classic in that green that I loved so much. I had already built a 1963 Ford Falcon hotrod/custom, painted in a matte green so it felt like the V7 in this color was meant for me. Once in the garage, it was much loved, much used; still is. Years later when buying a 1989 Honda GB500 (this exact one) to add to my collection (I had sold the first one I owned), the seller mentioned wanting to also part ways with his 2003 V11, in burgundy. One look and it had to come home with me too! What a nice addition to my V7.

I'm happy for #JZ5 too. Being a #BB33 fan, what a nerve racking race. Right there, every lap, slowly catching up to Jorge, I really thought #BB33 was going to win, then ends up 4th with an elbow push. Exciting!

Very unsettling incident
LaGrasta replied to activpop's topic in Special place for banter and conversation
For being a life-long, die-hard motorcyclist, I surprised myself with my children, now 19 and 22. I did not introduce them to cycling. My son did have a 40mph moped for a bit and each one sometimes rides our 50cc Vespas, but for the most part they don't ride, nor do they know how to ride using a clutch and shifting. I have been in so many situations where I could have died, I just never felt comfortable introducing them and they never begged me enough to change my opinion. I do sometimes consider taking my son to the dirt and teaching him on my KLX250. At least there, he will be wearing protection and can then at least say he knows how to ride. In spite of all my close calls, it's never deterred me from riding. -
KTM did well yesterday in qualifying down under. #BB33 is probably trying hard to keep up with Thrilla-Miller on his home track.

Andrea Iannone is back? I'm a fan!

ANSWERED Acceleration Enrichment Map-2004 Rosso Corsa
LaGrasta replied to Rob NZ's topic in Technical Topics
@docc I confused you? I merely meant I adjusted fuel maps for my 2010 V7 via PowerCommander and a PC, but never plugged in my V11 ever. I've now spent some time on thread ECU limited by stock O2. I don't think I need to mess with this as I'm not experiencing any of the stated hiccups and such. -

Forgive me, I never messed with my V11 ECU, nor do I have a full understanding of such. I have dabbled a bit with my V7 using PowerCommander. I'm curious, I replace my OEM sensor with https://www.ebay.com/p/1840908993, and receive quicker fuel adjustment? -
my reasoning is purely selfish, I'm an mm93 hater. sorry, I'll behave better.

should we start a new MotoGP thread, without #93 as the headline?

My #BB33 had two long lap penalties, and still placed 6th, nearly 5th until the last corner! Great race.

This happened on my 2010 MG V7, replaced the connector, kept the old regulator, been good ever since.

I read on Instagram this morning about a new dealer in Florida. https://www.motoplexdaytona.com/

Pedro Acosta could be a threat, although not always do Moto2 and 3 winners make the transition well. Lorenzo commenting on Marquez' obsession with VR46 is rich. Both are dead to me after the 2015 season. I can't believe Dorna didn't condemn those two. As far as I'm concerned VR46 has 10 titles!

I'm so anxious for U.S. talent to get back in!

After becoming a believer on my dual sport, I keep defaulting to Kenda. I have repeatedly bought them now for a few years, with amazing value. I now have them on my KLX250 and my 2010 V7. When my V11 is in need, I'll start there again.

I watch all of MotoGP on Sling, CNBC (news channel, I know, strange). It's only an additional $6 on my Sling package. For some reason, IndiaGP didn't air, or record or something, so frustrating! I only watched highlights on youtube. Looked like a good race and my fave, #33BB did a great job again!

Having owned a V7 since 2012, I hung out at WildGuzzi mostly. I tried Guzzitech as well, but a few know-it-alls repeatedly pissed me off. I still visit from time to time. Todd, who runs GuzziTech is really the premiere Guzzi Guru. He's been at it a long time and has invested more time and money into them than any other private party I know.

@Speedfrog Once I discovered this tool over 20 years ago, I use it for everything, clutch, brakes, cars, bikes, etc. It works so great, super easy.

We bought this for the wife, helps a bunch. https://www.amazon.com/Motorcycle-Passenger-Adjustable-Non-Slip-Universal/dp/B0CB8MX12D I'm still hoping to take my extra seat to an upholstery shop and build into a much larger two-up seat taking the place of the entire rear cowl, also incorporating a back rest. Not sure if this will happen, but it was an idea and I've started gather pieces to move forward.
