Run the Castrol. My opinion is that semi is fine, although it is harder to find that now then it was 5 years ago. Now most brands seemed to have phased out the the semi and offer full synthetics only. Gosh, years ago all I ran was petroleum based because that was widely available and never had a problem. I have used Castrol products for over 40 years, that has been my preference but there are many other great oils available.

I must have missed MartyNZ's post. That's them...what a find! -

Those rubber pieces are more than a strip of rubber. Sure, you can cut some strips, not so sure that would look good. The edges wrap around the strap. If you looked at a cross section, it would look like a thin C. I don't know who would have the exact replacement for that now. They are special straps for special cans. I might suggest emailing Stein Dinse. -
The south will be inundated with heavy rains today. Major flooding to come in these areas. @docc could be in this rain band...it is over a wide area. Hope all stay safe.

ANSWERED V11 for sale online/ Craigslist and all others

He was asking 13k each at the rally. I never saw the ad for the reduced price of 9K for each. They were beautiful, but not priced for a quick sale. Lots of trailered miles on them now. -

Yes, that was the greenie there. He was asking that 13k for each of them, not both. I talked to him quite a bit while he was there. He offered to deliver them to my house if I bought them. 13k was a few hundred more than what he paid for them both less than a year ago. I though he was a bit high on his asking price, so I declined. And let me just say, if I misunderstood his pricing, that's my bad. But I think I heard him right. -

Looks like they make them in red too... -
They went through so many phases for sure because of all the members cycling through. Here is one a year later after Green left and Kirwan came aboard. They did like to jam. This track could go on for another ten minutes, but sadly, it was cut to make room for other stuff. Its a great album though, one of their best. Kirwan left soon after with problems also. They have something for everybody. I loved Bob Welch's dreamy guitar and Christine's piano and soulful voice in albums to come. Those early days were the best. https://youtu.be/xzReLGYIJZc?feature=shared

Running the engine isn't like putting miles on. The whole bike needs its juices flowing.

ANSWERED Twentieth (XX!) South'n Spine Raid 2024

For the last 8 years my two HS buds from NY and I have made plans to hike at least two National Parks somewhere around the country during your SR weekends...usually 7-10 days. This year it is Rainier and Olympic. Next year our dates have changed. The SR is on my bucket list, and with no conflicts next year. I have a year to figure it out. -
@GuzzimaxI guess you saw this above? https://www.facebook.com/share/p/At5RxW28az8PGoUv/?mibextid=kL3p88

I'm sure the first few generations of transitor amps made very bright sound...not enjoyable to listen to at all. Your story is proof of that. Over time they have improved by leaps and bounds. I have a 35 year old Muse Model 100 that I have been very happy with as far as a warmer tone goes. I test drove a few before buying this one. It's no tube amp, but still sweet. It continues to pump out, but who knows for how long?

@audiomick,Sorry for the late reply, just saw this today. It is a late model Victory Vision if I recall correctly. Company is now out of business but parts and service is available from parent company Polaris for about 3 more years, I think. Not a good deal to buy that beast and have company dissolve.
