  1. I'll start sending a few emails to people today with a final amount to pay. I have the commercial invoices filled out for the overseas people. Final cost per unit came out to $89.65 USD plus whatever the shipping cost will be. I'll be off to UPS Monday Seattle time and will get the shipping cost for the overseas guys and will email them then. Got a couple family things on this weekend but I'll keep on this until they are all sent. Thanks!
  2. And just to be clear, I got costs online. I'll let everyone know actual cost once sent.
  3. For Tom in Norway, Phil in British Columbia, Michael in Germany and Richard in Australia, I will need to fill out a "commercial invoice" to accompany the plate because international shipments require a statement of value and purpose of sending the item. It will be noted as a $12 USD value so may sneak in without import duties although places like Australia are draconian in their approach. I just want to check if they want it via US Mail or UPS. Mail isn't insured or trackable with the same level of confidence that UPS offers but it is cheaper. Dealing with a lost package through US Mail is bloody hopeless, I'd prefer going to the dentist for a root canal!
  4. Emails sent Each one is wrapped in a layer of foam and then wrapped inside cardboard so that it occupies a small volume to reduce shipping cost.
  5. I was giving Joe a couple days to respond but haven't heard anything. Emails going to you guys today. Thanks
  6. Looking like we have everyone but just checking with a couple people. Looks like I may have 1 plate left over (that was probably for Joe) but we'll see how things go. I'll send him a message... Thanks
  7. Many thanks guys! 7 responses received as of Saturday morning Seattle time. Appreciate the prompt responses. Will email each of you individually early in the week...
  8. Yes apologies but we've been snowed in here. Just able to get out on the road today. Snow isn't too deep but its just sheets of ice and impossible to drive on. I attached a picture of my front driveway... Looks nice but I'm ready to get out of the house! Packaging is all ready and the Paypal account should be up and running. To help me keep track of everything may I request that everyone send an email to me with their name in the Subject line. Just your name, thats all. That will make it easier to identify each of you when communicating and searching for someone to email with tracking info. In the body of your email, tell me your FULL address for shipping and any specific requirements and I can coordinate with you that way. I'll have work out individual shipment costs because we have people all over the world... Ideally I'd like to make just a couple trips to ship, so if I can get as many names as possible over the next few days then I can do a run later next week. email me at: sales@theelementwebsite.com Hopefully that works for everyone. Once all is shipped and paid for I will make the donation and send Pete the confirmation. Thanks for your patience guys! Cheers. Andrey
  9. Yes Activ, .... a little foam and then sandwiched between two piece of heavy cardboard. Any international I will make a little sturdier.
  10. Guzzler Thanks mate. I was hoping to have had this sorted and able to ship to you from Auckland when I was back in NZ just before Christmas but shit happens. The plates have all had a quick random DA but because they were waterjet there was no burr on the edges anyway. Got a solution for packaging but need to buy some foam to wrap them in. I'll do that this weekend. Should be ready to start shipping next week.
  11. I have to set up a paypal or venmo account for payment so will get that done shortly. As to the time it has taken to do this, I appreciate the comment but I am embarrassed that it took this long. Should have been done in half the time. Back to you all early next week.
  12. 2mm stainless steel received today. Give me a couple days to figure out a packing method and check them individually. Will update early next week.
  13. Plates should be ready this Friday but we are expecting some solid snow here in Seattle at the end of this week, so I will have to see how the roads are that day. Will keep you all posted.
  14. Waterjet guys are back from the Christmas break and an order has been placed for plates in 2mm stainless steel. Will update as soon as they are ready.
  15. All good info to have,... now,.... thanks! Seems as though the material MUST be 2 mm stainless then..... oh boy.. Back to everyone in a few days after I talk to the waterjet guys.
  16. OK Wish I had understood this earlier. Plates need to be as thin as possible then. Let me think about this.
  17. I just came back to the screen here after unpacking them and checking the dimensions and the idiots at the waterjet facility cut them from the same 3/16" thick material as my other parts, not the 3mm material (aluminum) I requested. I'll be calling them as soon as they reopen to get it fixed. I should have opened them and inspected them when I picked them up but you expect these people to get things right. But footgoose... you make me ask if there was a prior issue with thickness?? surely a mm or so here or there isn't a deal breaker ... but if there is past experience i am unaware of please tell me asap... Thnaks
  18. Just curious if many people on this forum go to the annual Guzzi get togethers? Next year it is in John Day Oregon end of June I think. A fantastic riding area...
  19. Apologies for the delay but had work issues to deal with and the plates have been ready for a couple weeks.... Behold the beauty of the world famous Roper Plate. I'll be getting some packaging material sorted out for these next week so I can start shipping out shortly thereafter. Thanks for the patience everyone. Cheers
  20. Plates are done but I’m overseas on business and should be back in a week or so. Will send photos when I return and can ship them.
  21. How many purchasers do we have down under? Might be able to lower their freight costs but I would need an answer by Tuesday USA time / Wednesday Oz NZ time…..
  22. Plates should be ready in 2 or 3 weeks so things will be quiet for a while. Will update everyone once I have them.
  23. @Speedfrog______ x1✔️ @PhillipLarsen____ x1✔️ @guzzler________ x1 ✔️ @Joe____________ x2 ✔️ @Tomchri________ x1✔️ @audiomick__ ____ x1✔️ @swooshdave's friend____ x1 . . . . . CONFIRMED @activpop________ x1✔️ [edit to add @DucatiGuzziIndian ___ x1✔️ as of Nov 6, 2023 = ten plates] + @Dragonknee ...... x1 . . . . . .CONFIRMED So if I am not mistaken the list above is correct and we need 10. ...... I will order 11 to have 1 spare. EDIT: I better check my math... forgot to count 2 for @Joe... so that makes 12 total with 1 spare. Ya know, there's only 3 types of people in this world; those that are good at math, and those that aren't! I'll get them inscribed with "V11 ROPER PLATE".
  24. All good Added one to the list for you I think we are at 11 or twelve now but will check again. Needing one for myself as well of course. If we want some inscribing on them, I just need to know before Monday......
  25. OK well seeing it is so close to Friday I won't stress over a couple days. I'll order Monday. Thx docc
